I never thought I liked guys but the minuet he stepped through those doors I knew I had to have him.

I sat across him from the dinner table. We were seated in some fancy restaurant after all the papers were signed and the meeting had come to a close. Andy was his name. I remembered from the note he had let me see. Of course I hadn't told him my own name yet, I was waiting for him to ask me.
His eyes were set on his menu. Suddenly his phone buzzed on the table, it being next to his glass of water. He jumped and his hand shot out and grasped it before glancing around the table. I'm sure he was thinking along the lines of "no one will notice if I answer it real quick." Well in fact everyone at the table were having small conversations so honestly no one would notice.
'hello?' He said quietly into the phone, his eyes still on his menu. He gripped the phone tightly as I put my elbow on the table and leaned my head into my hand, watching him. 'You did what?' Andy hissed into the phone. 'Jace, I'm at dinner, I told you this, this morning, did you call Fray?' He sighed, before closing his menu, probably had figured out what he wanted. 'Damn, right, is Maddi okay?' He mummbled, glancing around the table before locking eyes with me. 'Okay I'll be there in a bit,' he said then added on quickly. 'And. Do. Not. Touch. Anything.' He said before hanging up and gently setting his phone on the table.
'Alright?' I asked, cocking my head to the side slightly.
'Mhmm, yes I'm alright but my children arnt so I have to leave,' he muttered, standing up. He looked up, over to Nic. 'Nic, Jase somehow broke the sink and it hasn't stopped gushing water so I'm going to head home,' he sighed with a trace of a smile.
'The sink?' Nic rose his eyebrows.
'Yes. The sink. And apparently Maddi cut herself on somthing so I got to go check that out as well. Thanks for having me,' he chuckled, grabbing his coat and phone.
'Good luck with it, Andy,' Nic murrmured, smiling. Andy laughed and nodded his thanks. I stood up as well.
'How about I walk you out?' I suggested. Andy stopped and looked over his shoulder at me. He seemed to be thinking about it before shrugging and nodding.
'If you want to,' he said, he turned back around and started for the door. I followed, falling into step with him. He glanced up at me.
He walked to the double doors that led in and out of the resturant and pushed on the handle and the door popped open. I watched as he slipped through the door and out into the still warm summer air. It was still light out, the sun casting was light across the sky. Andy made his way to his car and I continued to follow him in silence.
'I still don't know your name,' he commented.
'Indeed,' I said simply. He sighed and unlocked his car.
'What is your name,' he asked.
'Levi,' I smirked ever so slightly.
'Interesting, I like it,' he smiled.
'I do too.' I replied.
'Thanks for walking me out even if there was absolutely no need to,' he said as he put a leg into the car. 'I even learned your name in the process.'
'My pleasure,' I smiled warmly.
'Might see you around,' he said as he stepped fully into the car and glancing up at me.
'Hope so,' I grinned. He smiled again before closing his door and starting the car before he started to drive I quickly knocked on his window. He glanced up again and rolled it down.
'What?' He asked.
'Let's exchange phone numbers?' I suggested, my eyebrows raised slightly.
'Why?' He asked, giving me an odd look.
'Because.' I stated.
'That's not an answer,' he muttered while taking out his phone.
'It is in my book,' I told him, snatching his phone and typing my number into his contacts. I then texted my self a "hey" to get his own number. I slipped his phone back into his hand. 'Thanks.'
'No problem? Bye.' He said quickly before rolling up the window and driving away. I smiled and went back inside.
I went back to the table and sat back in my seat and glanced around the resturant. It was honestly a nice place. I leaned back in my chair and start to actually listen to the conversation but honestly I just wanted to head home now.
