I looked around, gasped in awe.
It crushed, it ended, all I lived for.
The world around darkened, dimmed.
I stood in ruins of what we built.
The house, buildings went down first,
No city standing, just a ghost.
The people's turn was next to come.
No use to run. We all froze numb.
They cound go on, they could not care.
My grief hit hard, too much to bear.
Down on my knees, a tear fell:
It was our final farewell.
I faced the storm, I wouldn't hide,
For my world ended when she died.
To my beautiful loving wife,
rest in piece my love.
Yours, M
