I work at a perfume shop not too far from where i live.
I have this weird habit to juge people by their perfume choice.
DON'T JUGE, it's bcs i have literally nothing to do except work at the register or help clients to choose.
I do it with my bestie joy, i find it funny.
But today she wasn't here, girly left me alone :,).
ANYWAY after a while of working i started to get bored and tiredd.
I looked at my phone and someone entered, i waited until
they came to the register.
I didn't look at the person standing in front but when he left, his perfume ...
DAMN IT, THAT'S ONE OF THE HANDSOME MEN PERFUME WE CALL IT WITH JOY.
i ran out of the shop to see if i could catch him but no handsome men to be found 😞
Only ugly ones.
ANYWAY, i slapped my cheek bcs i had a chance yk but i lost the opportunity.
I sighed and said out loud:
"I guess I won't have a handsome men any faster."
Then a lady heard me omg that's so embarrassing.
Lady: Oh I'm sure your going to find your handsome men soon, don't give up already.
Me: Thanks but I'll probably have to wait.
I said giving a meh look.
The next day i only had a night shift so i went to joy's house and explained what happened to her.
joy: THAT'S WHY I TOLD YOU TO NEVER GET DISTRACTED BY YOUR PHONE GIRL.
Y/n: i knoww but he arrived at the wrong moment.
I said while pouting
Joy: you better find that men before some other lady claims him.
Y/n: yeah well sorry girly but i gotta go, my night shift is almost starting.
Joy: k girly be careful when your shift is finished.
Y/n: i will dw see you tomorrow.
Then i left to go work.
After hours it was time for me to leave before my coworker takes my place.
I went out, the streets where pretty quiet wich i didn't mind, people where probably partying in clubs.
I was about 10mins away from my home when a weird guy approached me.
The guy: heyy pretty girl, what are you doing alone at night?
I ignored him as i tried to walk away but he pushed me.
Y/n: fuck off weirdo.
I started to get really pissed of and he looked like he was getting angry for literally no reason LIKE BOY TF.
He then started yelling at me and i could smell the alcohol.
Y/n: you fcking smell.
He tried to hit me i flinched but someone grabbed his wrist.
???: Don't you dare try and touch my girlfriend.
GIRLFRIEND? BYE- pls I don't want another weird man PLS ONE IS ALREADY ENOUGH TO MAKE ME MAD.
I couldn't see his face bcs he was behind the man and it was dark BUT OH MAN DID HE LOOK TALL.
The guy: whoo are youu.
That btch asked drunkly.
???: Fcking dumb.
Tall man mumbled.
The guy: YoU WaNNa FIght?!
He said making me laugh a little.
???: You asked for it.
Then tall man started to beat the sht out of this guy.
Y/n: OUUHHHHHH SHIT-
At this point the guy was knocked out.
Y/n: HEY HEY HEY I THINK THAT'S ENOUGH.
Tall guy then looked at me and..
IT'S A HANDSOME MAN Y'ALL.
I blushed a little.
His hair.
His eyes.
His lips.
His nose.
His height.
DAYUMMMMMMMMM YK I'M THANKFULL FOR THAT KNOCKED OUT GUY.
The tall man got closer to me, i could smell his perfume.
IT'S THE HANDSOME MEN PERFUME YYYYYYYYYYY FOUND HIM.
???: Are you okay y/n?
Y/n: how do you know my name?
???: You still have your name tag on.
Y/n: Oh sh- yeah i- uh yeah i totally knew.
I sounded drunk while saying that, and he chuckled a little.
I looked away out of embarrassment.
???: I'll take you home, btw I'm ej sorry i got mad earlier bcs of that guy.
I slowly nodded and then he walked with me until we arrived at my house.
I was about to open my door while he started to leave but i stopped and tried to go for that badass voice if yk what I'm saying.
Y/n: ej wait, before you leave i just wanna say thank you for earlier.
Ej: no problem be careful next time.
He then left and i went into my house then IMMEDIATELY called joy to explain her what happened.
A week later i had to work the same night shift again.
After i got out of work i walked slowly looking around me when i heard someone calling my name.
I turned around and saw ej with flowers in his hands.
Y/n: wow hey ej it's been a while why do you have flowers? Is it for you girlfriendd??
I said teasingly even tho i had no idea if he had a gf wich i hope not, ANYWAY.
Ej: actually these are for you
He said in a shy tone, i got surprised a little and took the flowers.
Y/n: thank you ejj btw could i get your number ? If it doesn't bother you ofc.
He gave me his number and then we walked to my home and started to get to know each other.
