As the group led by Jungwon headed back to the classroom they decided to wait for the rest of the groups finished their tours. Jungwon sat down in the chair farthest to the left with a couple chairs next to him vacant. Riki saw it as another opportunity to make conversation with the leader. However just as Riki was about to take the seat next to the boy, the pink haired friend quickly pulled the chair.
"Sorry, this seats taken." He said as he revealed an innocent smile.
he just scoffed in response
The tall Japanese was left with no choice but to just take the seat next to Sunoo. A couple minutes had gone by and little by little the room filled up with the remaining groups. After some time, the administrator walked in and started introducing the syllabus and rules for the new students.
After a whole hour of pure yapping, the administrator finally dismissed the students, allowing them to head to the lunchroom.
Right as Riki was about to get up and leave the room the pink haired boy grabbed his wrist, stopping him. The Japanese looked at him confused as he saw him waiting for everyone to leave the room and signaling Jungwon to wait for him outside. Sunoo sat signaling Riki to sit. The pink haired then bluntly asked,
"Okay. Tell me what's your motive, huh?"
Riki playfully smirked "what do you mean?"
"Don't play that act with me. Now spill it." the pink haired replied
"Can't I just be nice with my Hyung...?" He said as he slightly smiled
"Look I just want to know what your intentions are. I can't afford letting my friend get hurt again..." He said as he quietly murmured the last part.
"wait what do you mean by hur-" He was cut off by some cat eyes peeking through the door
"Sunoo hyung hurry up!! I'm hungry..."
"cominggg! Talk later." He said as he stood up and left the room.
Tangled up in his own thoughts he got up and left the room. He was thinking about sitting with the rest of the transfers since he would have no difficulty talking to them. However, there was curiosity lingering within Riki after his conversation with Sunoo.
As Riki arrived at the lunchroom he noticed Jungwon standing in line and was about to call his name but was interrupted by someone
"Hey jun-"
"Hey Riki! where were you? let's go eat!" his friend Haruto exclaimed as he put his arm around his neck.
He sighed in defeat "fine let's go. loveee your sense of timing by the way"
As the Japanese group found an empty table they sat down and started eating. Luckily, they sat 2 tables behind Jungwon's table. Riki made sure to sit facing Jungwon's direction to be able to sneak some peeks without being too obvious.
As Riki looked at the boy he noticed how different he was around his friends. He smiled a lot, laughed, admired and gave them sweet smiles as he listened to them babble on.
Riki envied that. He wished to be seen with that much warmth by someone like Jungwon.
