art had never been your strong suit. i mean, if you were to draw a circle it would probably be oval more than anything. that's when you fell so hard for the boy who spent his days creating art it was a bit weird. i mean i suppose it did prove the fact that opposites attract. you unfortunately had been forced to take intro to art this year due to scheduling conflicts, on the bright side you got to hang our with your crush more often. watching him work on pottery was probably the hottest thing ever. you tried to keep your distance, mostly because you struggled with your feelings and because you didn't want him to see how badly you were struggling at ceramics. your first project of the year was to create a small piece that showed a human emotion. for some reason this was a group project, so that was interesting. you were planning to work with you friend lilac when you were told it was assigned partners. the teacher began to call out names "lacey and lilac, andy and simon, rachel and tom, y/n and c/n". you froze, how were you going to work with him without freaking out? he came over to your table and took the stool that lilac vacated. "hey i am c/n, y/n right?" you just paused and nervously said "yep". he smiled and then said "oh, so i was thinking that we could maybe do the emotion love, i know its cliche, but it's also fun." not going to lie, the idea of doing that with him was nerve-wracking, but you still said "sure". "great! okay so this is a sketch i made." he slipped his scrap paper over to you. you furrowed your eyebrows. why was the sketch that looked distinctly like you?
