Rain Brings Pain

I laid back looking at the fluffy white clouds and blue skies. A dark shadow slowly began to fill the sky as in seconds it began to pour rain. I closed my eyes as the rain hit my face and body. I listened to the sounds of the rain hitting the ground of trees it was so calming and relaxing. I smiled as the rain and wind got faster and louder. My smile faded as the rain stopped hitting my face and body. "Luna Kate we need to go," I growled at the men surrounding me, "Step away from me let the rain hit me." The men stepped back as i closed my eyes again letting the rain hit my face once again. I listened carefully and then suddenly sat up as loud pounding feet came my way. I watched the men kneel quickly, "Alpha sir." I watched Kent my newly chosen , not picked by me might i add, Alpha mate, "Kate come with me." I looked up at him pleading, "Please I am enjoying the rain baby." He growled harshly making me jump to my feet, "NOW KATE!" I lowered my head and walked to him, "Yes Alpha." He walked in front of me as I felt my body slowly began to shake, i couldn't figure out if it was from fear or the cold. I felt something heavy and warm land on my shoulder and wrap around me. I looked back at the shifter man who bowed and then ran off. We reached the back door as Kent turned towards me, "Go to our room, no dinner, and do not come out. Ok?" I nodded as he growled, "Yes Alpha." He nodded and i lowered my head as I walked slowly yo the stairs. I turned towards Kent, "Baby..." He growled loudly, "GO NOW!" I yelped and tan up the stairs into the room and broke down crying. I sniffled hard as my wolf Athena spoke up, 'Stop crying Kate.' I closed my eyes so I could more easily talk to her, 'I just wish we had our actual mate Athena.' She gave a wolf sigh, 'I know me too Kate.' I suddenly heard a loud growl erupt from outside and decided to go check it out. I looked out at the many wolves walking out of the forest as Kent stood tall with our warriors behind him. I quickly walked to the edge of the balcony and jumped down into the bushes below i was surprised no one had noticed. I slowly began to crawl forwards as the other guy smiled at Kent. "Kent," he had so much venom and anger in that one word, "Gabe." Kent said back with as much if not more venom. I heard a branch break behind me as a two bodies stood on each side of me, "Well hello." I looked at both of them as each one grabbed my arm pulling me out to the guy named Gabe. He smiled and Kent growled loudly, "Who is this Kent?" I growled when he touched my face and gently traced it down to my neck, "Un marked thats dangerous because anyone could claim her... like me." He smirked at me and in one quick move I kicked him in a very unhappy place. I glanced slightly at Kent as a smirk crossed his lips so I smiled wide. Gabe stood quickly and grabbed me by the neck and lifted me off the ground growling at me, "You little stupid she wolf." I kicked hard landing my foot on his rib cage and I heard a few breaking noises. I felt my back hit the ground as an angry pissed Lucas wolf came running to us, Kent had no control now and I quickly jumping to my feet and growling loudly as Lucas stepped in front of me and slowly started walking both of us back to our own side. Gabe stood smirked at me, "Bye Beautiful." He blew me a kiss as Kent growled loudly, and got in a defensive stance. Kent looked at me still in wolf form and I could tell I was done for. He nodded towards the house and I lowered my head and walked into the house. He looked back once more at the place Gabe had been and then trotted into the house. I handed him a towel and he shifted back grabbing the towel, "Our room now!"I whimpered and practically ran to the room. I sat at the end of the bed with my head down as Kent walked in grabbed some clothes and quickly changed in the bathroom. He walked back out and stopped in the middle of the room, "Look at me." I looked up and he gave me such a disappointing look with his arms all crossed ant everything, " ARE YOU STUPID?" I looked at him with shock almost, "WAIT DON'T AWNSER THAT I ALREADY KNOW THE AWNSER AND ITS YES YOU ARE!" I whimpered at his tone, "HE COULD HAVE TAKEN YOU FROM ME YOU COULD HAVE DIED! WHY DID YOU DO IT?" I looked up at him and was about to answer when he raised his hand, "I don't know what to do with you anymore." I stood up and growled at him, "EXCUSE ME THIS IS MY PACK NOW TOO I AM YOUR MATE YOUR LUNA AND YOU CAN'T KEEP ME LOCKED IN A ROOM WITH NO FOOD!" I was filled with so much anger and I finally snapped. He looked so shock it scared me in three steps I felt something heavy hit my face as I hit the ground. I looked up at Kent as he growled at me, "Never disrespect me like that." I grabbed my cheek as pain filled it, "Excuse me you are the one who just hit me... your mate!" He growled at me, "If you ever disrespect me again I will hit you again." I began to cry, "Go find a place to sleep in one of the other rooms you are not welcome in this room tonight." I was still in shock and couldn't move, "GET OUT NOW!" I held my face as I slowly stood and walked out of the room and broke down crying as the door slammed behind me. "Luna?" I looked at the man who had given me his jacket earlier, "No Luna." He was quickly by my side and helping me walk down the stairs as I cried harder, "I need the doctor." He nodded picked me up and ran me to the pack doctors place. He opened the door and shuffled us inside, "Luna?" I cried harder and I moved my hand away and noticed it had blood on it, "Luna you will need stitches." I nodded and the man walked to my side and grabbed my hand as the doctor put eight stitches into my cheek. "Did he..." I nodded and the doctor hugged me, "I am sorry little one." The doctor looked at the man on my side, "You can leave now Caleb." He shook his head, "Nope not till I know she is safe." The doctor looked at him, "She won't be safe until you get her away from Kent." Caleb looked at me and nodded, "Then thats what I do." I suddenly snapped my head towards him, "What?" He smiled, "I help you break out of here so you can find your true mate and wont get hit by stupid men."  I grabbed him and pulled him into a hug, "Thank you." He hugged me back as the doctor smiled, "I will help if I can." I nodded and so did he, "Thank you both."
