Chapter 4: Witch Wolves

I felt my eyes open as there was nothing just emptiness. I began to panic and started heavily breathing Athen slowly began to take over as I screamed out and collapsed onto the bed crying. 'Calm Kate,' I just cried harder, 'He didn't want us and left...' I cried harder as I suddenly sat up and saw an almost butt naked Alexander standing in the door way, "WHATS WRONG KATE!!" I blushed, "I thought you had left me..." He smirked and walked into the room holding the towel around his hips. He walked to the side of the bed and grabbed my face with one hand. He gently lifted it to his and kissed me with so much passion. I felt my whole body melt under his kiss and touch. He smiled and walked to the closet, I collapsed onto the pillows and closed my eyes. I opened them really quick and saw Alex glance at me, he smiled and let the towel drop as I looked at a naked butt. I blushed and closed my eyes again, "What don't feel like a show?" I laughed and pulled the covers over my head, "Sorry but not yet." I watched a shadow walk over and pull the covers away, "Thats fine with me." He kissed my forehead and walked to the closet and looked at everything, "I will take you shopping today for clothes and whatever else you need or want sweetie." I smiled wide, "Really?" He picked me up and spun me around, "As much as I love you in my clothes. I think you need something for when we go to fancy pack dinners." I laughed, "Fancy pack dinners?" He squeezed me tighter, "Yeah sometimes it's with other packs or my parents or just the whole pack goes out from food at a fancy restaurant. By the way there is a Fancy dinner with my parents tonight." I literally froze in his arms, "W-w-w-w-what!?!?" He kissed my forehead, "My parents want to meet you and want to check up on the pack." I felt Alex gently place me on the bed, "You will be great they are already so excited to meet you. If you don't feel comfortable I totally understand." I looked at him and then sighed, "Well we better go shopping then." He picked me up and kissed me making my legs feel like jell-o. He walked to the closet and gave me a new shirt, some sweatpants and looked at my feet, "I will ask the girls if they have any shoes. What size are you?" I looked at my feet, "10 or 10 and a half." He looked at my feet again, "Dang, they are..." I growled, "Don't say big..." He smirked, "I was going to say they are perfect." I blushed and looked away as he closed his eyes and in minuets there was a knock at the door. "Come in Lauren." I looked at a perk teenage girl skip in, "Kate this is my sister Lauren. Lauren this is Kate my mate and new Luna." She bowed and then looked at me, "Is she in boy clothes?" I looked at the baggy shirt and pants, "Whats wrong with that sister?" She shook her head, "Come with me Kate." I looked at Alex who head nodded for me to go with her. I stood and headed for the door looking back once at Alex who was just smiling. Lauren immediately linked arms with me, "You are so pretty!" I blushed, "You are very beautiful yourself." She pulled me into a pretty large room and then into a large walk in closet. I felt my mouth drop open as I looked at the rows and rows of clothes, "DANG!!" She smiled, "You can wear anything you want!" I looked at he and then all the clothes. In the corned of my eye I saw something I walked to the rack and moved all the other clothes away as I pulled out the dress. It was a sweet heart with shoulder straps. I quickly changed and looked in the mirror at how good I looked. Lauren squealed and ran to holding a cute pair or white vans and some short socks. I put them on and felt Lauren staring at me, "You can keep the dress and shoes it looks better on you then me." I hugged her, "Thank you!" She smiled, "I didn't do anything but you're welcome Kate." I hugged her tighter, "You showed me so much kindness and friendship!" She laughed, "Well you are my new friend!" She turned grabbing my arm and skipping out towards the stairs. We walked down the stairs as I felt multiple eyes locked on me. Alex walked to me and picked me up placing me gently on the ground again, "You look beautiful." He kissed my cheek, "Ready to go?" I nodded and we walked outside and I looked at a limo, "What the heck!" He crouched, "What?!" I laughed, "A limo?" He smirked, "Only the best for my best girl!" I laughed, "OUCH that hurt my heart!" I turned and looked at Lauren grabbing her heart, "I thought I was your best girl." Alex laughed, "You are the best sister." She giggled and walked away as I looked back at the Limo. The driver held the door open as I got in first and then Alex. We sat on the back two seats as the driver got in and we headed into the town. "Where do you want to go first?" I looked at him still in shock, "Well I need a fancy dress." He looked towards the driver, "Take us to a fancy dress shop please." He nodded, "Yes Alpha." Twenty minuets later and we finally made it to town and it looked so amazing. I just stared out the window and smiled, "What are you doing?" I smiled, "Kent never let me leave the house except to go to this really pretty field were I had almost thirty guards surrounding me at all times." Alex had this pity look on his face, "Don't look at me that way please." He touched my cheek so gently, "I can't help it I hate how he treated you. It was repulsive." He put his arm around me pulling me into his chest, "I wont let anyone ever treat you like that ever again." We pulled in front of a dress shop as the driver opened the door and Alex got out first and then helped me. The driver bowed to both of us as we headed into the shop. It looked very expensive and fancy, "Alex darling it has been too long." This tall slander women kissed his cheeks. Her eyes hit me, "And who is this cute young thing?" He smiled putting his arm around me, "My mate Kate." She grabbed me kissing both my cheeks, "My name is Madam Victoria, I run the shop." I bowed politely to her, "What brings you in here today?" Alex pushed me forward, "I need a dress for tonights dinner and first time parent meeting." Her eyes light up as she smiled, "I feel honored to dress the Luna!" She grabbed my arm bowing to Alex, "I have the perfect dress in mind." She pushed me into a changing room as she walked away and came back a few minuets later, "Take off that dress and I will help you into this one." I nodded and stripped quickly she held the dress down as I stepped into it. She pulled the light blue dress up and zipped up the back. I smiled as I looked at the loose fabric falling just above my knees. The sweetheart neck line showed just enough without showing too much. And I absolutely fell in love with the shoulder straps. They weren't just straight back but had an angle and had a long piece of extra fabric which fell down my arms attaching at the wrist again. It exposed my arm but also covered a lot of it too. I felt a tear slip away as I looked at how beautiful I looked. I turned and hugged the women she hugged me back, "Thank you for making me beautiful." She smiled, "I didn't make you beautiful I only handed you a dress. You are the one who is making the dress more beautiful then it actually is." I hugged her again, "Let's show Alex." I grabbed her arm as she turned, "I would rather have it a surprise." She smiled and nodded helping me out of the dress again. She took it hiding it and headed for the counter, " For the Alpha and Luna you can have it for free." I gasped, "NO, but please..." She shook her head, "No but's, have a great day you two." Alex bowed, "The dress has been but in your limo already." I bowed and skipped off, "Did want to show me is it really that bad?" I growled at him, "It is so beautiful!!" He threw is hands into the air, "Sorry." I laughed, "I need shoes now." He laughed as we walked down to the shoe store. I let him wrap his arm around me as we walked around the store and straight to the size 10 shoes. I quickly found a pair of 4 inch black shoes and bought them. I don't know why I had this need to get home. I practically jumped into the limo, "Are you ok?" Alex looked at me concerned, "I have this need to get back." He touched me and I shook him off, "Please don't touch me." He nodded and just stared at me, "Please creeper keep staring at me." I giggled as he looked hurt, "Creeper oh my heart is breaking." I laughed, "Well since I cant touch you doesn't mean I can't stare at me." I looked at him, "It now does." He sighed, "Maybe I should just jump out and run home." He opened the door and I grabbed him pulling him into me, "NO!" He smirked, "Thought so." I curled into him and felt my body start getting hot, "Let me go." I felt this inner thing telling me to get home now. I looked at him and he looked almost scared, "What?" He just stared at me, "Your eyes." I looked at him, "What?" He touched my face and I felt the urge telling me to get out and run. "They are..." I opened the door and rolled out. I quickly shifted and raced past the car to the pack house. What would usually take so long only took seconds, I growled and then the smell hit me. I shifted and ran into the house, "Blood!" I looked at all the bodies and blood as I ran up the stairs and heard a soft breath. I opened the door and looked at Lauren, "LUNA!" She screamed and jumped latching onto me, "I was so scared." I grabbed her and then the smell hit me, "FIRE!" I placed her down, "Run Lauren!" She turned and raced down the stairs as I checked each room. The rooms either had blood or were empty. I was about to leave when I heard a gently crying. I could feel the flames as I broke the door and looked at Caleb laying motionless on the ground and a little girl crying. I felt Caleb for a pulse and got a very faint one, "Caleb." He groaned as I picked him up putting him on my back as I grabbed the little girl in my arms. I went to step out and felt the flames starting to engulf the house. I looked out the window at the large bushes below I placed the little girl down. I grabbed a near-by blanket wrapped it around my arm and broke the large window. I looked at Caleb, "I am sorry this is going to hurt." I picked him up and tossed him out the window. The little girl looked at me, "Trust me I am the Luna I will protect you!" I picked her up as she clung tightly to me. I moved to the other side of the window and looked down. I saw Caleb begin to move a little and then looked at the other half of the bush. "I am scared Luna," The little girl grabbed tighter onto me, "I will...." In a flash I felt my body get thrown forward. I quickly wrapped my body around the little girl turning her so she was away from the ground. I hit the ground hard as my body scrapped along the ground. I felt my head hit something hard as everything went black...

Alexander's POV

Kate started to freak out, "Let me go." She sat up and looked out the window and when she looked back her eyes weren't golden or blue they were red bright red, "What?" I stared at her eyes some more, "Your eyes." She stared at me so confused, I gently touched her face, "They are..." I watched as in seconds she opened the door and leaped out rolling on the ground. She shifted and raced off towards the house. "STOP!" The driver quickly stopped and looked back, "Drive home!" He nodded as I got out shifted. I howled out as I felt an urge inside me telling me to get home that something wasn't right. I turned and raced off towards the house and thats when the smell hit my nose. "Blood," I growled and pushed faster as another smell hit my nose, "Fire!" In pushed harder as I looked at my pack house in smoke and flames. I shifted as I heard a coughing coming from inside the house. I raced off and ran into the house, "Lauren!" She was coughing laying on the stairs, "Help." I picked her up and ran her out side, "Breath slowly." She grabbed me, "Luna... Inside..." I looked at the house almost totally in flames and Howled out. "Lauren I need you to start heading down the road. The limo driver shoulder be coming call for help and call for mom and dad." She nodded and stood moving slowly down the road. I heard a light moan coming from inside the house. I looked at the door way engulfed in flames, "Stay calm whoever is in there!" There was nothing no noise anything I walked towards the door and was about to bust in when I heard a noise. It was glass breaking and then I heard the low moan again. I raced into the house and saw Jenny laying on the ground, "Jenny?" I ran and picked her up, "Help..." I turned to leave and just my body fly through the air and out the front door, as everything grew black...

"Alpha wake up!" My eyes blinked open as a little girl looked at me, "Luna... help..." I stood, "Where?" She took my hand and pulled me to the other side of the house. I looked at the house still in flames. My eyes locked on Kate knocked out and bleeding severally, "MATE?!" I ran to her side as she slowly looked up at me, "Caleb." She pointed at a guy laying onto of my bushes. I walked over and picked him up placing him near her. I noticed the window broken, that must have been the noise I heard. "Jenny?" I looked around as Kate started to stand up, "Kate just stay down." I ran to her side as she began to cry, "So much blood." I hugged her, "I know baby girl." I heard cars pulling up as Lauren ran over to us followed by my mom and dad. I pulled Kate onto my lap, "Son what happened?" I stood holding Kate, "I don't know the house was on fire and there was so much blood. She got here before me saved this little..." I looked around and noticed the little girl gone, "What's going on the little girl was here... and Jenny she was here..." I looked at Kate, "Please put me down." We both screamed out at the same time as I felt so much pain take over, "What's happening?" I looked up and as the little girl and Jenny, "You need to die." They started laughing as a girl and boy ran out of the forest in all white. The girl ran to me as the boy ran to Kate. They both touched our hearts and grabbed hands, "Cast away, Cast away show the truth and Cast away. Unbind the lies to there eyes, take the truth and show the moon." I felt my eyes close and when I reopened them and looked at the Kate. The house had no flame marks nothing, "How is that possible?" The boy and girl looked at me, "You had a spell on you and we broke it." I looked at them, "A spell?" They nodded, "Witch Wolves like us."
