"Techno! Techno!" Technoblade spun around to see Tommy run towards him. It didn't take long before the blonde pummelled into him.
"Kid? What's up?" Techno gently pulled Tommy away from him. Tommy looked up at Techno with big shiny eyes.
"It's Father! He-he looked at me when I waved! And-and then he nodded to me!" Tommy was ecstatic. Techno couldn't help but feel sad at his brother's happiness. He shouldn't have to be so excited because his father nodded at him. He should be this excited if his father had told him they were gonna go travel to another kingdom, or something.
"That's amazing, Tommy!" Techno was also excited. Maybe this was the first step to their father being more involved in their lives? "C'mon, let's go to the dining hall", Techno started walking towards the big hall. Tommy took his hand. Techno looked down in surprise at his little brother, it had been years since Tommy had taken his hand voluntarily. Tommy nervously looked up only to be met by a warm smile, something that was quite unusual for the crown prince. Tommy smiled back.
"So, what did you learn today?" Techno asked his brothers over dinner. Tommy immediately started talking about his lessons. About an assignment, or some incident with his tutor. Then Philza came up. Tommy told Wilbur all about how Philza had nodded to him. Wilbur looked shocked, and exchanged a glance with his older brother, asking a silent question. The silent question being: "do you think this is the start?" and the silent answer being "yes".
