The interrogation room door opened to show a man whose uniform looked much messier than his colleague's. It was the officer who pulled me away from the crime scene.
"Officer Wilk, you have finally decided to join us. Miss Bale will not speak or confess to the homocide" said Inspector Plod.
I looked up to see both men staring at me. I immediately gazed down which resulted in my hair falling over my face.
"It's only a matter of time until we get the results back, maybe we should undo her handcuffs. There is nothing she can hurt us with" said Officer Wilk.
I hear faint footsteps coming towards my end of the table. My face crooked upwards as my hands were being freed from the metal bindings. The officer looked at me intently as if to see how I would react with chains no longer restraining me.
"Now we have to wait while the results for the DNA found are getting processed. After that, you'll never see the light of day again" exclaims Inspector Plod. Why is this happening to me? Why am I stuck with this problem? Why...me?
