Fiddling with the card between my fingers, I could feel 3 sets of eyes staring right at me.

"What?" I finally relented after realizing we're on the highway, barreling down at high speeds and our driver wasn't even looking at the road.

"Are you having any side effects from your vision?" Q asked worriedly, going so far as to cup my cheeks, making me face him with an awkwardly squished face. "Do you need to throw up?"

"I'm fine!" I managed to get out, my voice partially muffled by Q's hands, "I usually won't feel sick so soon after my last sickness."

I lied straight through my teeth and I already feel some bile coming up my throat, but I prayed I could maybe sleep it off. Neither Q nor Archer seemed to buy my lies either, but they both didn't comment on it. Almost like they were sharing a silent connection when Q slid part of the seat beat off of me and tugged me down so I was laying on his lap. My good boy Archer had produced a blanket from somewhere, draping it over my shoulders and patting me lightly before cracking open the history book.

He seemed to know exactly what to do as he sat in silence, studying the history of our kind.

I felt someone gently comb their fingers through my hair, and I looked tilted up my head to look at Q who had so much adoration in his eyes I felt like I was swimming in it.

"You're beautiful," he whispered, caressing my cheek slightly, his wrist in the perfect position for me to sniff his skin like a creep but he didn't seem to mind. Instead a smile spread across his face, so tender and sweet.

"You're beautiful," I repeated, meaning it. I didn't think his smile could get any sweeter, but not I feel like I'm going to get cavities if I keep watching him. So I shut my eyes, snuggling into my warm but rather firm pillow, basking in his gentle touch.

"He's ugly," I could hear Archer mutter, and with a small giggle I drifted off to the dream world.

It was the day I was "captured" by rogues all over again.

The first day I met Q was the day I was ready to die. Except in this dream I didn't run away from Q. Everything would still be the same, except we would move out of the caves and start our own pack - after getting approval from the council, being a rather famous seer gets it's perks once in a while.

"Marina!"

I turned at the sound of my name, putting down the basket of herbs I picked from the forest. The human markets were a bit far from us, and I always do like spending time alone in the forest.

I held my arms open, feeling a little ball of energy crash right into my hips, burying his head in my stomach.

"Hey Archer," I giggled, feeling him squeeze me with all his little might, "What are you doing all the way out here? It's too dangerous for you."

"I could say the same to you."

My mate's voice immediately caught my attention, and soon he appeared from behind a tree, coming up to me and wrapping his arms around me, not caring he was partially squishing our poor child.

"I knew you were there," I whispered into his ear before pushing him off so Archer could breathe.

He did a big dramatic gasp and everything.

"You stink!" He turned around and tried to punch Q, playfully of course, but Q still blocked his fists with a big smirk on his face.

I couldn't help but smile at the scene. Never would I have foreseen my future like this.

"Didn't you have something to tell your mom?" Q reminded him, turning him around and holding him by the shoulders.

"Oh right! Ma-" he paused, taking a deep breath, "Mom, dinner is ready!"

"Oooh yum," I smiled, holding out my hand which he took happily. I watched as Q weaved around us, taking my other hand happily, not bothering to hide how his purple eyes glowed with happiness. He also held my herb basket in the other hand. "Did you cook?"

"Yeah, but the little guy tried to help," Q leaned down, enough so I could feel his warm breath tickling my ear, "I wouldn't eat the mashed potatoes. Unless you want a mouth full of gummy worms, potatoes, and frosted flakes."

"What?" I whispered back, shooting him a concerned look.

"I turned my back for one second and Archer was dumping all sorts of things in there."

"Are you guys talking about me?" Archer's voice broke through our whispering and we both turned to look at him, "I said I was sorry."

"It's okay, Uncle Wes will eat it," Q smirked again, a more malicious smirk that was a bit concerning.

"Wait what else did he throw in there?" I furrowed my brow, going ahead and looking ahead, "Wes is not going to be happy."

Q winced, "That bad?"

"Let's just say he might not show up to patrol tomorrow."

"Did I kill him?!" Archer screamed, looking terrified.

"Oh no no no honey!" I slipped out of Q's hand, going down to comfort my son, "He's just going to be in the bathroom for a LONG time."

It takes a lot to take down a wolf, especially of Wes's size and strength, but Archer found a way. A terrifying way.

My stomach churned at the thought.

"Well tell Uncle Wes I'm sorry," Archer pouted, completely saddened by the thought of making his beloved uncle suffer.

"He won't eat anything that will make him sick I promise," I pat Archer on the head before going to resume our walk back. A certain mate was quick to latch back onto my hand, catching my attention.

He kept an unknowing expression, but I didn't miss the way his lips curved slightly upwards, and his eyes once again glowed with happiness.

This is the life I could only dream of.
