there is a place.

to the country song
you didn't like
were being played
inside my mind

to the fading sunset
above the green grass
listening to the words
that i could get a trust

away from the noise
and to those commotions
and let me just sit here
and feel the motion

to the long way home
curve rocky roads
i could say this moment
made my life so good

away from everything else
and to the bickering
let me just stay here
and keep me dreaming

now, you watch me here
with this stoic face
but i hope you know
in my mind, there is a place.

i wrote this poem after i realized that i have been dreaming of living in a mountains or somewhere at the beach and even if i'm alone, i'm going to be happy because i deserve a world. i guess we all have that kind of daydream when we are actually in the reality but we imagined what if... i could go through portals and have moments like this?
