When you look back at your childhood you see two honest pointers. The first pointer would be your joyful and delightful state, Your happiness and potential 'child play' would go along with that state. The second pointer would be what every child has experienced, and that would be your most possessive and negative state, which connects towards rage, attitude, frustration and irritation. A child's mental heath increases while your moving on to the steps of your growth. Some may be mentally ill due to past trauma, Others may leave the trauma behind and focus on the future.

When you look at Shouto's childhood trauma, you would see chaos continued and caused by lies, mental issues, anger and displeasure. When you look at him now you would see his potential in focusing on his choices, future and settings in life, That would be 80% of him in reality. Meanwhile as you carefully look at the other 20%, you'd see he was still lingering onto his trauma, Meaning that he still isn't leaving it behind. Bakugou didn't grow up with a missing brother, a mentally ill mother or an abusive father. The 'Sludge Monster' incident was enough to make him have flashbacks.

(Narrating Todoroki)

He sprinted into the washroom and held his bloody hands on each edge of the sink. He then stared back at the broken pieces of glass on the carpet. The accidental cuts on his palms began paining even more. His breath was full of shaking and wincing. The bleeding didn't get any better.

He turned the tap on that was now covered in blood, The sink had a puddle of crimson water forming redder. Todoroki shut the tap off and hurried to his bed, He picked up the nearest clean towel and gripped onto it dreading the pain of the slits. The bloody water bits on his hands began dripping onto the white bed sheets. You would assume that the bed stains and the cutting were the worst parts, but it could get a bit more worse if somebody was continuing to knock on the door right? The person behind the door had no perspective on what they were doing, while Todoroki was trying not to cry out in pain as he realized the bed stains weren't the only problem. Todoroki grunted slightly as he began clearing the visible stains on his bed. He quickly threw the bloody towel in the sink and shut the door completely on his way out. The pain pierced his body every inch he moved. He'd figured whoever had been waiting at the door probably left by now. But surprisingly not. But than it hit him. It was about 2 in the morning, A few teachers would be awake by then. What if it was one of the teachers and they heard his racket? He took in quick breaths and decided to just open the door and get this over with.

As the door squealed open Todoroki was hung back to see that nobody was there. If Somebody had left he would have heard their footsteps. His mind hesitated but couldn't push away the urge to think what he wanted to.

'You're mentally unstable just like Mother'

'You don't know what your even doing'

'You will always and forever will be an unwanted and sensitive child nobody admires'

Maybe he was unstable, But again he was mostly thinking straight. He shook his head and slammed the door shut out of his frustration. He sat up on his chair and stared at the completed assignments lying lifeless on his desk. Then he got up and entered the washroom. The broken glass was still piled in the middle area of his dorm. He walked towards the sink and stared at himself in the mirror. He looked at his presence in the mirror, he was disgusted and dumbfounded. The wounds on his hands pained even more as they still weren't healed. He sighed. His guilt for himself was taken away. As he was cleaning up, his rage bottled up inside himself, again. He pushed his teeth together and his fists were now tightened. He calmed and redeemed himself. After cleaning up the bed problem, he went back into the washroom and he walked towards the sink again. This time as he looked back into the mirror and a flash of the one person he'd forgotten about made him fall back onto the ground, breathing sharply and heavily sweating. The image of Touya startled him, he was now frantically taking quick and heavy breaths as the image was now gone. Something was triggering him, It could be somebody or something, but it was triggering him. At this rate he forgot about the pain of his palms and now focused on getting back up and redeeming himself back to reality. Because Touya was gone, long gone. After he wiped off the blood and stains off every corner of his room he closed his eyes and sighed delightfully as he felt the soothing water rinse off his body. The gentle and caressing touch the the water was enough to make Todoroki melt into the fragile sensation. For once he smiled in delight, it was a true smile. He didn't pick on himself, he didn't worry nor did he go back to any other moment in his life. He stayed in that sensation until he fully redeemed himself.

He'd known that this would sooth him. Rei taught him that healing is a process and processing takes time. That also goes for your delight. And redeeming and forgiving yourself fell into that matter as well. His breath lowered onto the right pace and he for once was taking care of himself. He was gentle towards his body. He opened his eyes and turned off the shower tap. His formal sensation was over, but he would always have a time to do it again. He wrapped his towel around his waist, covering the lower parts of his body. His hair was dripping wet as he walked into his closet picking out a pair of clothes. He then looked back at his reflection.

"Thank you Mother"
