In King's Landing Lord Varys was able to send out letters to the north, To the king of the north. To directly to Jon. To tell him that Freya, Baelor and the rest of them are alive along with the plan at hand.
When Jon got the letter from Lord Varys, Jon was least from happy with the plan. But when Arya heard what was happening, she started her way there to king's landing. Cersei Lannister is on Arya's list of names. And nothing will take that away from her.
Jon was going to go to King's landing to stop the others but his army came as well, they wanted lannister blood to be spilled for all of the years of war.
It would take Jon maybe a few weeks to get to king's landing but he knew two things could happen before he gets there. One freya and the rest could die. Two they could succeed before Jon gets there.
In King's landing Lord Varys was talking with Lady Olenna Tyrell to tell her granddaughter not to marry the king, telling the plan to the Queen of thorns. At the start she was not okay with it but she heard enough stories about Joffrey Baratheon. She agreed on Lord Varys wishes. And she told her Granddaughter to wait.
