Discovering a race of monsters

chapter 2

-:Elliot's POV:-
I woke up in an instant after hearing that big boom. I look to the side to see that the door had been broken down and there was a monster in the door way. I stood up quickly and grabbed Seto who seemed to be in a lot of pain. I looked around and grabbed a glass container and threw it at the monster to distract it. While it was distracted I ran away with Seto in my arms.
(If u didn't know there is like a apparent building like connected to the school, idk why there just is pls don't question my logic😁)
I ran to the stairs connected to the apartment complex and ran up them. I saw that one of the doors had a doggie door so I quickly pushed Seto threw then went threw myself. "Hello is anyone there" I said. I heard something run towards us and I held Seto close to me. "Wh-what are two kids doing here" said an unfamiliar voice. I looked up to see a lady in maybe her early twenties. "Hi um I need help 1. My friend is dying I think and 2. We need to get out of here" I said in a panic. The lady sat on the floor next to me "may I look at ur friend" she said. I nodded hesitantly and gave her Seto. She carefully unwrapped the bandages to see the wound. She gave a disapproving look. "What, is something wrong? Is he gonna die" I asked starting to panic. "No he's not going to die I'm just disappointed that he let himself get hurt like this" she said. She then picked him up and took him somewhere but I wasn't allowed to follow. So I sat on the floor waiting.
-time skip to one hour later-
-:Setos POV:-
I woke up with the sharp pain still in my side I looked up to see a lady I had never met in my life
'What the heck I don't know her why am I here.... ' I thought. She just smiled sweetly and said "don't worry I won't hurt you plus look at your side where u got cut". I lifted up my shirt to see that she stiched it up. " oh uh thanks" I said. "No problem" she said smiling in return. I got out of the bed and basically wobbled out of the room. I saw Elliot sitting on a couch "Elliot"? I said. He looked over to see me and jumped out of the chair. He ran over to me and started asking a bunch of questions like " are u alright" or "does it still hurts". I didn't know how to answer but then the lady walked in. "Ok kids so I'm Becky probably should've introduced myself earlier hehe" she said with a sweet smile. So we started introducing ourselves to.
-time skip to like 10 minutes-
We were heading down the stairs when suddenly they started to collapse and we all fell.
