Ms. Martin: Good Morning Class! Welcome to your first day as a SHS student. I am Ms. Martin and I will be your teacher for this school year.
Class: Good Morning Ma'am!
Ms.Martin: By the way, we have our transferee from Baguio. Jada, come here in front. Kindly introduce yourself.
Jada: *comes in front* Magandang umaga sa inyong lahat, Ako si Jada Malawani. Isa akong Aeta at nakapag-aral ako dito sa tulong ng Scholarship mula sa aming komunidad. Nice to meet you. Sana maging magkaibigan tayo. *smiles*
Kristy: Hello Jada, nice to meet you.
Classmate 1: Are you an Aeta?
Jada: Oo. *smiles*
Classmate 2: Oh, I see, that's why you look and talk like that.
The whole class except from Ms. Martin and Kristy laughed at what the classmate had said. Jada goes back to her seat, shocked and embarrassed by the class laughter. She just shrugged her shoulders and brushed it off as she knows she is proud of who she is and where she came from.
Kristy: Hey Jada, sit here next to me.
Jada: Salamat, ano nga palang pangalan mo?
Kristy: Hi, my name is Kristy Lopez. I have been studying here since elementary. I am sorry for my classmates, they are just like that, most of them are spoiled teenagers just because they belonged to mostly rich families. I am so sorry Jada.
Jada: Ayos lang iyon, naiintindihan ko sila.
Kristy: By the way, sorry if I'm speaking English. We are just used to it since it is required here in our school.
Jada: Walang problema, Kristy. Naiintindihan ko. Masaya ako na hindi ka kagaya nila na mukhang ayaw sakin. Ikaw ang unang kumausap sakin maliban sa mga guro. *Smile*
Kristy: Oh really? I am happy I approached you. I have no friends here din kasi e. So, are we friends already?
Jada: Sige, salamat. Nice to meet you, Kristy.
Few Hours have passed and it's already their lunch break.
