Duryodhan's POV

Duryodhan like usual woke up early in the morning, before the crack of dawn, he had been doing this for so long. The reason behind waking up so early was because he had to wake his 101 crazy brothers and 1 princess with all of them throwing the tantrum of their life. He just chuckled at his own thoughts as he started going towards his brothers' room, people might think he was crazy, but could you blame him no matter how much they troubled him his siblings were his everything. He had 101 brothers and a sister who never disrespected him and believed him over everyone else even the elders and the most intelligent people on Earth. They literally troubled him to hell but dare anyone even think they can mess with him, they don't allow that person to have an easy life; they would play such pranks, of course harmless and funny he made sure that they knew not to hurt anyone, but alas in the end he had to face the wrath of every elder and some unbelievably cruel punishments, because there was no way he was exposing them to this cruel world and destroying their innocence.

Duryodhan came out of his thoughts as he reached the room closest to his, it was Dusshsan's room, he was in a way Duryodhan's friend, the only one who understood him to an extent. Dusshasan though unaware of the whole situation did understand it to some extent and Duryodhan could talk about those to him. He and his brother shared a code language that only they knew it was English in our days but at that time just a nameless language created by him.

He opened the door and as usual it was open. He might seem overprotective, but he was just worried, so he made them promise that they would never close their doors as it provided him with a sense of ease, that he would be able to enter in case of emergency without any delay, there were many such promises he made them swear on, this was just one of them.

Duryodhan with alot of effort got all of his brothers and sister to finally wake up after 2 hour. Then they went on with their routine of going to Ganga river for bath and then on their way visiting the Shiva temple.
In the whole Hastinapur, Shiv temple was one of the most important place in Duryodhan's life. No matter how much the outside world tried to wear him down, till the time he was inside no one could hurt him. His utter devotion to Mahadev was purer than the purest object on Earth,  it could even rival Gandhari's (the greatest Shiv devotee of that time) devotion. He had picked up a habit of chanting the Shiv tandav eyeryday since he first learned it at the age of three. It had been two years from now, he would recite it everyday for while his siblings listened to it. After completing the rituals and doing his daily Pooja for which they had gone back to the shore of Ganga for Surya Pooja,  they started going  back to the palace although still following the edges of the shore and playing along. It was really tough for Duryodhan to keep all his siblings from running around and he was also child he also wanted to do such ridiculous mischief,  but he was also the eldest so he had to control himself to keep his brother in line,  after all that is what his whole life he has had to do.

The particular thought had dampened his mood considerably.

They were walking along the edges of the shore when something or rather someone caught Duryodhan's eyes. The person was practically glowing like the Sun which made him want to protect his eyes yet he just couldn't look away.

It was as if he was in a trance, he saw the man coming out of the river and unconsciously started moving towards him the brothers followed his lead.

He approached the the person who was just slightly older then them and bowed down in respect.

"Pranipat" his voice rang out and the man turned to look at him.....
