It's the afternoon, school has ended, I walk home as fast as I could, hoping that I wouldn't see him anywhere just as I get home I get a notification from my phone. finnwolfhardofficial started following you. Shit, how'd he get my Instagram, and why the sudden interest in me? I shrugged it off and walked up to my room.
I layed down on my bed just as I get another notification from Instagram.
Finnwolfhardofficial - hey stalker.
Finn texted.. me? I never once expected this to happen. Should I text him back? What should I say? A bunch of thoughts goes through my head until I finally figure out what to say.

I smile at that message. Somehow my confidence just came out of nowhere..

I smile again, and turn my phone off. Never in my 17 years of life did I ever expect this to happen. I was texting the guy I had been crushing on for years. Finn. Wolfhard. I close my eyes but quickly open them as music starts playing full blast from my neighbours house, they're having a celebration because their son is staying to live with them for a few weeks, like I get it, it's exciting but you have neighbours.
I close my curtains and slowly fall asleep for school in the morning. I wake up to my alarm screaming in my ear “oh my-” I start to scream but quickly realise it's time for school and my mom will kill me if I start screaming at 7:00 in the morning. I get dressed and walk to school, everyone is surrounding the school entrance again, not surprised.
I walk into school and get ready for
class, I take a seat in the same seat I was in yesterday, next to finn. “hey finn.” I confidently say to him “what?” he says in a deep and tired voice “n-nevermind.” I turn to the front of the room, why was he being a jerk? I sit there staring at the wall for the rest of the day.
As I leave the school exit, I see finn with his friends and I decide to storm past him, quickly enough for him not to say anything, no luck. “hey stalker.”
He says as I walk past him. He runs after me and grabs my arm “hey, what's wrong?” he looks into my eyes, wow, whys he being all caring and nice now? Was this all an act for his friends? “nothing.” I manage to get my arm free and walk home.

I turn my phone off ignoring the message from finn that I had received and went about my day trying not to think of him. But for some reason I just couldn't get that curly headed boy out of my head.
