Ever the forgetful person that I am, my instincts kicked in as I ended up stopping a bicycle sliding down that was supposed to hit me by holding it with my right hand. I sat there for a good few seconds before realizing what I had done.
From looking at the stage to slowly turning my gaze to the bicycle, I slowly moved my eyes upward and saw a girl with dirty-blonde short hair that almost touches her shoulders, and goggles that seem to have been used to pull back some bangs.
She was wearing a turtleneck sweater with black and white stripes, and a black loose shirt on top of it. Under it, she was wearing black ripped jeans and black sneakers.
"Ah!" I said as I let go of the bicycle. "I'm sorry."
The bicycle had a small basket in front of it, having plastic bags that seem to carry some groceries and some other items that didn't look familiar.
"M-mm," the girl replied, seeming to look in a bit of a shock from what I did. "I should be the one to say sorry for almost hitting you."
"Oh, yeah. Haha." I responded.
I was so out of myself as it came to me that my plan to hide my real physical strength to others has completely failed already in day one of my normal life!
"She's probably gonna question my strength and how I managed to stopped the bike", I muttered to myself, shaking.
I started to put my 2 hands on my head as I began to think of certain scenarios that I thought was gonna happen to me.
I'm gonna get found out.
They'll find me weird.
They'll question who I am.
I might not be able to go to school my entire life.
Naito will get mad at me.
My friends at home will leave me.
Everyone in my village will laugh at me.
I might get disowned and live my-
"Riooon!" A girl suddenly shouted from the top of the hillside, stopping my thought process. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah! I'll come back in a bit."
I looked up to see yet another girl. She has long, wavy blonde hair that's let down, sapphire-blue eyes, and thick yellow-brown eyebrows. My eyes widened as I saw my cousin, Tamaki.
"Hey," I asked the goggles girl. "By chance, is her name Chiba-"
"Oh, her? Maki-chan do you know him?"
Hearing the girl's response, I immediately shouted Tamaki's name. "Yo, Maki-san!"
"Ah, Yukito? Is that you?"
"Yeah! Finally!" I replied as I let out a small smile.
"So you were here."
"Yeah. Well, it is the first day of class so I thought it would be nice to chill outside for a bit."
"That's alright. It's also your first day here in Tokyo after a long time, isn't it?"
"Uh-huh. Probably around 8 years already. So much has changed in this place."
"Yup."
I didn't know what to say anymore but I felt happy as I just stared at Tamaki, smiling as I finally met her again after a long time.
"Oh yeah," Tamaki said, pointing out the girl on the bicycle. "This is my friend Tanaka Rion. She's in the same school as us, and the same year as me. We've been friends and bandmates since high school."
