Chapter 9

Telling fans, family and friends

After Chan and Y/n talked to Felix they made a plan to tell the company first and their families, also to tell the fans and the rest of the members in Straykids and BTS. So they waited a few days to let everything sink in that everything would go right when they talk to everyone.

~A few days later~

(TELLING JYP)

Chan and Y/n were on there way to see JYP because they going to tell him that they are finally dating and that they are happy, when Chan made the call to him that they wanted to talk to him that it was important and they wanted to set something up for the fans and the other members. When they arrived they went up to JYP's office and on the way up Chan noticed Y/n's nerves and he stopped her outside the office to tell it was going to be okay and that JYP won't be mad but will be supportive.

~Y/n POV~

When we got the office Chan knocked on the door with his left hand, while his other hand was in mine, now and again squeezing my hand to reassure me that everything will be okay. A second later the door opened and JYP welcomed us in and let us sit down before we got to what we wanted to talk about.

"So what did you want to talk about you too" JYP said with a smile while looking from Chan to me. "We wanted to officially tell you that me and Y/n are dating and that only you and Felix know about it" Chan said with a nervous look on his face as he rubs his thumb across my knuckle under the table. "I see and I should really say congratulations to the both of you I am happy that you told me and what do you want to do about the rest of the members and Stays" he said looking to Chan with a smile. "We want to tell the members and Fans at the same time so we could set up a fan sign and when we go to ask questions and answer them we will tell them an announcement about me and Y/n" Chan said confidently. "I think that would be a great idea and I will set it up for you and get back with the date and time okay" JYP said cheerfully. With that we stood up and about to leave before JYP started asking us what were we going to do about telling our parents and siblings. Which I said "we are going to tell them today after we leave here" I said with smile and bowed when we left to go tell my biological mum and dad and brother.

~Chan's POV~

When we got in the car to go to Y/n's brothers dorm to tell him and his members while we FaceTime her parent who are back in Daegu. I turned to Y/n in the car to see her already looking at me with a huge smile on her face. "I am so happy that he supports us in this relationship Channie" she said as I put my hand on her thigh and rubbed my thumb up and down while she put her hand on top of mine as we pulled into BigHit. Y/n messaged Yoongi that we are downstairs waiting for him to bring us up, as he came down Y/n ran to him and jumped on him while wrapping her legs around his waist as they hugged. Yoongi began to walk to me with her still in his arms while I giggle at her quietly as he came up to with a hand out as I shook it and said my hellos while bowing to him. As he put Y/n down from getting tired with her clinging to him as she giggle at him and she came back to me putting her hand in mine, while kissing my cheek as we followed her brother to his dorm.

After we got to the boys dorm Yoongi got all the other members into the living so we could tell them all that we have special news that mainly aimed towards Y/n's brother but since the other boys are close to her we thought about telling them altogether. When the boys were all sat down Y/n cleared her throat and started to talk about our news. " Ermm I don't know how to start saying it so I am going to cut to the chase and say that me and Chan are officially together and since you guys are close to me we wanted to tell you and after we are going to call mum and dad with you Yoongi" she said waiting for a respond nervously. After she said what she needed to, all the boys were cheering and congratulating us with our relationship as Yoongi got up and hugged his sister and kissing the top of her head and shaking my hand and told me to take care of her with everything I have.
