The alarm clock aggressively signaled. Valencia groaned in annoyance and threw her clock. She couldn't have a few more moments of peace to herself. When she tried to rest for a few more minutes there was a loud knock at her door. She rose with a miffed expression on her face. When Valencia opened the door the messenger looked at her and smiled. "Good morning Lady Valencia", he started. "I was told to give this letter to you from the King". "Have a blessed day!" Valencia irritatedly slammed the door. "It's six in the morning and you're this energized", she thought with an angered look. Valencia inspected the letter. It was beautiful. It was a sparkling gold envelope sealed with a rose. Valencia's eyes widened as soon as she saw it. She knew it'd be fancy coming from the king but she could never imagine this. This was extraordinary! When she finished inspecting its beauty she hurriedly opened it. "Lady Valencia, as a knight in training please report to the headquarters to be tested with your fellow peers, Thank you - King E. Alarie". She placed the letter on her nightstand and quickly got ready.
