Caitlyn walked in front of the door with precaution, as she stared at the inmate. Slowly, they turned slightly,

"Who the hell are you?"

"I took a look at your file. There's no record of you or your crimes. What are you here for?" The enforcer asked.

"My sunny personality." The girl stated.

"You attacked an inmate, why?"

"Why not?" She answered as she started pacing like a predator circling its prey.

"He was a witness in an ongoing investigation."

"Hm... bummer."

Caitlyn became irritated with the lack of cooperation. "This was a waste of time." As she began walking away, the girl called out,

"Couldn't have put it better. Hey, give Silco a kiss on that winning eye of his, will you?"

Maybe she isn't completely useless... Caitlyn thought as she slowly walked back in front of her cell. "Silco, the industrialist?"

"Okay, this is getting old. Can you just send whoever's gonna kick the shit out of me, so I can get on with my night?"

Caitlyn glanced at the red line painted on the floor to warn her not to get closer. She took a deep breath before stepping over the line, "Does this mean anything to you?" She asked as she held open her photograph journal along with her notes.

One glance at the photo and the pinkette slammed her fists into the bars, looking at the painting causing Caitlyn to jump back. The picture had a very familiar monkey drawing with a specific color.

f/c.

"Where did you get this?"

"My question first. He worked for Silco?"

"Uh... they all do. How can anyone not know that?" She answered as if Caitlyn was stupid. "Where did you find this?" She asked with more force.

"...It was an attack. This is evidence. I need proof if I'm to believe what you're saying about Silco."

The inmate chuckled a dry laugh, "I could get it for you, just... not from in here."

It was then Caitlyn's turn to laugh, "In what mad world would I trust someone like you?"

"Someone like me? You enforcers are all the same. Just asshole criminals in fancy uniforms! You know what? Find Silco yourself."

"I will, thank you."

"Hmmm... Undercity's gonna eat you alive."

Caitlyn froze. Her mind was debating itself. She was more than capable of doing it herself, but the risk? She couldn't risk that.

"I've got orders from Councilor Talis, concerning Inmate 516." Caitlyn slid the paper to the other side of the desk.

"Not cooperative, huh? You, uh, you want us to have a chat with her?" He slammed a long wooden pole onto the floor, creating an echo.

The girl's eyes went wide, "No! It's for her release!"

"Huh... Since when's he a counselor?"

"Since ... today." Her eyebrows furrowed as a pit grew in her stomach in slight realization. "How many chats have you had with her?"

"You know, I never even thought to count."

The pinkette faced the wall, waiting for a friendly 'chat' to come, but instead, she was met with the sound of an opening door so she slowly turned around. Caitlyn stood there, with a face morphed into slight disgust. They stared at each other for a few seconds before Caitlyn walked away, leaving the pinkette by herself.
