Chapter 3

(Timeskip)

It was the potter twins birthday . It was the big 11 when they would get their letter for Hogwarts . Ophelia woke up quite early as she was excited for the day . Petunia was in the kitchen making pancakes and hot coco for the twins . She knew  what would happen thus she had discussed with Vernon last night . With him agreeing to let that magic school happen only if they don't do magic in the house . As Ophelia ate breakfast , Petunia got mail and she knew it was for the twins so she asked Ophelia to wake Harry up .Ophelia didn't know why she had to wake him up as it wasn't that early yet but she compiled and went into the cupboard to wake him up . They both knew that Aunt Petunia didn't like them sleeping there but she had no choice in that matter as she wasn't the one paying the rent of the house and the bills .
  The people in the hall were on their seats as they knew the Potter twins would be getting the big letter that same day . "James , where re we not there for them when they get their big letter ?" asked Lily as she grew more confused and slightly jealous at the fact that her sister was being the mother she wished to be for her pair of twins ."I dun know , lily-pad" answered James growing confused by the moment . "Oh shush , talk about it later . I wanna see what happens next " replied Severus . The marauders glared at him but they shut up and then the screen flashed .

Ophelia was skipping as she went to the cupboard and she woke harry up by slightly bouncing on the small bed . She then turned on the small light bulb and woke her brother up. Then she went back to the kitchen as Harry got ready . She saw Uncle Vernon and greeted him good morning and she talked with Dudley over the book he had got her for her birthday . But he wasn't revealing which book he had bought her and Ophelia being the curious girl she is continued to pester him about that until she gave up . Then Harry walked into the kitchen and he greeted Aunt Petunia and then he made small talk with Dudley about what he got for his birthday . Then Aunt Petunia brought out two plates full of pancakes with some candles on top of them . It wasn't much but the twins were grateful and all 5 of them sang the birthday song for the twins .

 Vernon then went out to check the mail box and he saw one particular letter . Sighing as he went back inside the house . He then gave it to Petunia who was excited for her non - biological twins to open it . " Twins ,I have a surprise for you  . Now this isn't from me but consider this one of your presents ." announced Petunia . Dudley was curious but he knew better than to anger Ophelia on this . Harry and Ophelia grew curious as they opened the letter and then read the contents .They didn't know what to believe a school that teaches magic exists and that they were witch and wizards . They looked up to Petunia as if asking her with their eyes to explain . She then asked them to meet her in her room and her room they went .

Everyone in the great hall were curious to why Petunia was being a mother to them when she didn't have a good relationship with the twin's mother . But the marauders were happy that the twins had gotten their letter and were expecting for Petunia to ruin it but she didn't . Lily was on the verge of tears as she realized that she's not there in the future for them to receive their letters .
