Summary START

Geno, an adult who is in his early-twenties and works with his adoptive father in a company.

His father makes these dinner feasts and always invites guests over. Geno's father also invites the CEO of another company and their son, Reaper.
Reaper, also in his early-twenties, was skeptical of attending these feasts at first, since he saw no reason to them. His mother and father force him.

"That company is a close ally to us, we must attend to show our gratitude."

Reaper attends and attempts to have some small talk with Geno at the dinner table, but he seems to disapear very quickly.

Flashback

The city has always been noisy, nothing changes often. Danger lurks every corner, both literally and figuratively. Even the most respected businessmen in the city can be difficult to trust.

Geno however, thinks otherwise. His father had made him change his perspective of life. Because even after the stuff he had been through, he chooses to believe there can be good in people. His father proved this to be true, as he had saved Geno from his miserable life.

This does not mean Geno will be social with people right away, he also believes that relationships take time to form.

And today was like every other, Geno would file a few papers here and there, not too much to do. His only job was to observe his father, but he did help every once in a while, like right now.

"Geno, how would you feel if I invited people over to our home?" His father would question.

"What people? Invite them over as if it's a party?" Geno spoke nervously.

He wasn't much of a party person.

"People from other businesses much like ours. And no, it won't be a party, just dinner."

Geno thought about it.

"We can give it a try," Geno fiddled with his fingers a bit.

"Thank you for agreeing with me, I will try to prepare everything for this dinner. Choose your best outfit, and at least try to be social, please?" His father sounded serious, but sincere.

"I'll try my best, don't worry Father."

The day had come, Geno and his father had planned this dinner for a while now, and had agreed to have them as often as possible.

This was to ensure that the companies got along with each other and refrain from starting fights.

Each CEO was allowed to invite few people, mostly their family members.

Geno and his father would greet every person who was invited, until the very last guests came.

"Ah, (_____)! Buddy! It has been a while!" Geno's father greeted another man with an overjoyed expression.

"Indeed it has, and I would like you to meet my son. Go on, present yourself," the man smiled warmly to a skeleton next to him.

The skeleton looked towards Geno and his father, he wore a calm smile.

"Nice to meet you both, my name is Reaper."
