______________________________________"Hello? Who is this?"
"Samuel-Ssi! It's me, Choon-Hee!"
"Ah, hello Choon-Hee. What gives me the honor for this call?" Samuel leans back against his chair, mindlessly staring at some numbers and documents.
"Well... I got the job!" A smile crept up on his lips when hearing the cheerfulness radiating from the phone. Instead of reading and signing the important documents, he started doodling on the corners while listening. "Congratulations, did you tell the rest?"
There were a hesitant silence that answered his question straight away. "No. I was going to, but when I came home and my boyfriend embraced me, he smelled the cigarette smoke and alcohol. He wasn't really pleased. My other housemates was quite frustrated as well by what had happened."
"They wouldn't like you getting a job either way because you're pregnant." Samuel commented, somewhat also bothered that she was going to work but more bothered by the fact that she wasn't working for him. "You sure you don't want to take my offer?" Choon humms puzzled on the other side before realizing what he meant. "Ah, no. Sorry, I don't like nepotism."
"The offer will always be open if you were to change your mind."
"Thank you, I will remember that! And again, thank you for driving me home yesterday."
"It's not a problem at all. Take care then Choon-Hee."
"I will! Take care Samuel-Ssi!" With that they conversation came to an end.
Samuel stares at the contact and sighs loudly before looking back at the documents sprawled out in front of him on the desk. He runs a hand over his face in annoyance by his loud his heart was just by hearing her voice. It felt nice to know he was the first person to call when getting the information about the job. Maybe he could find time to visit and see how she's doing.
Meanwhile Choon was sitting on the couch with a huge smile on her face. She was delighted that Samuel didn't stress about everything.
Her eyes dart towards the bathrooms as DG came out, dressed in comfortable clothes and a towel drying his pink hair. Her heart made a loop, something that begun happening not that long ago. She doesn't know when it began, she just started thinking he was more handsome as the time ticked by. The way his hair hung in front of his eyes, the water dripping from the tips and the way the clothes hung from his body.
It was all making her feel weird. Warmer.
"Something on my face?" James ask, making Choon flinch before blushing and looking away.
She was caught staring and she doesn't know how long she had been staring at him after he came out. Unfortunately the teasing smile didn't make anything better, it seemed to make things worse instead.
