The Kitchen

As Alexis is later walking down the hall she soon gets grabbed from behind.

"Ah!" Alexis shouts as she feels someone grab her arms to prevent her from moving away.

"I thought I smelt your scent outside. Naughty humanthing. You should know better than to eavesdrop on conversations you have nothing to do with." A voice says as Alexis realizes it's Bela.

"Please I didn't mean to." Alexis says.

"Didn't mean to? Oh is that so? Or are you just hoping to find a way to escape?" Bela asks as she smiles.

"Never Lady Bela." Alexis says.

"Don't lie to me little one. It would be your worst mistake." Bela says annoyedly.

"But I am not lying. Please let me go. I have to finish my rounds." Alexis says as she tries to move away only for Bela to tighten her hold.

"You just want away from me. I know your schedule and know fully well you're finished for today." Bela says.

"Please." Alexis says.

"For the last time. Why were you snooping?" Bela asks sternly.

"Please I didn't mean to snoop." Alexis says.

"Foolish humanthing." Bela says angrily before she pulls Alexis into a room and throws her at the ground.

"Ah!" Aleixs says as she hits the ground.

"You're not leaving here until you start talking little one. And I'm not in the mood to play nice so you better answer me." Bela says as she holds her sickle.

"Lady Bela I assure you I-" Alexis then gets cut off by Bela.

"Silence. Now why were you outside? Did you know the manthing? Were you gonna help him escape? Why?" Bela asks angrily.

"Why does it matter so much? I've told you I didn't mean to snoop. I was just cleaning and over heard you talking. I would never run." Alexis says as she stands up.

"And why should I believe that? I could just easily cut you into pieces for snooping anyway." Bela asks.

"Lady Bela please just let me return to my duties." Alexis says.

"Ugh! Why are you afraid of me!? Every other human is afraid. Why aren't you?" Bela asks angrily as she growls frustratededly.

"I don't know what you're talking about Lady Bela." Alexis says.

"You know damn well what I'm talking about. You're more fearful of my sisters and mother but when I am round you're calm as can be. Why do you not fear me?" Bela asks angrily.

"Because I don't fear death or what it brings. It would be a blessing for me considering my past." Alexis says bluntly.

"I could kill you easily you Alexis." Bela says.

"Then why don't you!? You always talk about killing me but never have. You know about my past but the others don't and you still act kinder to me. I don't fear you because I don't see a monster when I look at you. I see someone who is like me. Looking to belong and be free to be who you are. But if you want me dead so much than do it. Just don't say you're going to and then don't follow through. You'd be doing me a favor." Alexis says angrily.

"Fine. You want me to kill you then I- Huh? Sounds like the stupid manthing is nearby. You are lucky for now but if you ever talk to me that way again you won't be walking away again." Bela says as she hears a noise and leaves as Alexis watches her leave sadly.

*Timeskip*

"Oh why did I say that? So stupid." Alexis says as she is walking by the kitchen before hearing an angry growl.

"Ugh! You stupid manthing!" A voice shouts angrily.

"Huh? Bela?" Alexis asks as she goes toward the voice before seeing Ethan and Bela fighting in the kitchen as cold air blows in.

"I won't forgive you stupid manthing!" Bela shouts before she collapses and begins to turn white.

"Finally. She's finished. Now how do I get out of here?" Ethana asks as Alexis stays hidden as she watches him leave before running over to Bela.

"Bela! Bela? Still barely alive. Come on Bela. I'm gonna get you out of here." Alexis says as she uses her powers to freeze the window shut before shifting to wolf form and putting Bela on her back as she runs out of the room.
