Complete....!
After exiting Level 1, we discovered something strange. On one of the walls, there is what seems to be a red exclamation mark, lazily painted. A wild screech caught our attention and we hurriedly rushed towards the exclamation mark, hoping to no clip into a safer level.
We no clipped into a hallway with red blaring lights and a loud alarm. He had urgently informed me seconds after our arrival there that a 'horde of entities' were gaining on us. We burst through the hallway, prompted to run faster than we ever had in our whole lives. We ran past the stacked furniture and the falling bricks. I hadn't dared to take a look back but he did. Out of stamina and thoroughly exhausted after four days without basic necessities, we felt ourselves gradually slowly down. I feared for our demise. It was he who reminded me that my friends would not want me to have come this far only to die before I could find my way out. In a way, he was right. If I survived, they still might see me again, if I died here, they would never hear from me again. Not even the chance.
An intake of breath and in seconds he and I sprinted into the narrow pathway, twisting into another part of this seemingly never ending lethal maze. I placed my hand in a hurry to catch my breath for a few seconds before I had to move again and caught a quick blurry dash of yellow inches from my head. I took the remaining bit of motivation I had to run from whatever that was and brought myself back next to him, who was now just as tired as me. I saw a door roughly some meters away from me, and I grabbed his hand in a daze, making sure that I had company. We both bolted through the door.
Much to our disappointment, the door led us to another red hallway. This one appeared slightly different. It was much brighter red, and as expected, more entities rushed towards us. We took no chance and fled down the hallway, hoping to find the exit. We didn't stop running until we turned into a sector of the hallway that illuminated blue. The entities disappeared and we decided to stay here for a bit until we regained our strength. Much to our surprise, there was almond water and bits of snacks around.
This was roughly his tenth time around this sub level, so he knew his way around. He wandered through more blue hallways and I asked him what he was looking for. He replied that rumor had it that if one entered the sub level enough times, there would be a red stairway up that leads to The Promised Land. At the statement, I grew increasingly excited as The Promised Land was practically every wanderer's dream. He had much difficulty finding the sub level many times, as knowingly The Backrooms is vast.

We finally found the staircase! It was taking us so long, 15 hours to be precise, and I thought we weren't going to find it. I think-
