Rose's Story

"You have no choice," He said. "Believe or begone!"
I closed my eyes tight. "You can't make me!" I yelled desperately.
He grabbed me and walked up to the "Death Trap" They call it. I wiggled and I squirmed until they let me go, and I sprinted back home.
I slammed the door and locked it behind me.
My breathing became heavy, as I realized there was no hope. I had to leave.
----------
Hi. My name is Rose Dubois. I have been running from the police for a year and a half. It all began when my father wrote a letter saying I should start going to church. So the first day I tried it out I was forced to believe what I did not want to believe. So I kind of said stuff I shouldn't have. And the next day I was given some hard life-threatening choices. So that's my life for you.
----------
'What do I do? What do I do?' I paced around my bedroom. 'I have to leave! It's not safe here anymore!'
The next day, I got my bags and started packing. It was going to be a long trip. As I got my things together I thought of where I should go.
"Maybe to America?" I mumbled softly to myself.
Just then There were three loud knocks on the door.
"Knock knock KNOCK!"
"This is the Police!" A deep voice echoed. I got my bag that I packed the other night and quietly opened my window. I threw my belongings out the window as quietly as I could. Then, I ran over to my 6 piggy banks and collected all of them. I am going to need a lot of money for this trip.
Have I mentioned I am a little poor... I only have a limited amount of money and it's hard to do things.
I poured all my money out of the piggy banks into my purse, threw my purse over my shoulder, stared at my empty house for a bit, then turned to the window.

You're probably wondering why I live alone. I don't actually live alone, my step-mother is just at work, and my Father is across the world in Japan. He does things for work in Japan, and my real mother died of cancer 2 years ago. My Father and Mother didn't get along at all. And I wonder if Father even misses her.
----------
"I say open this door right now!" The deep voice yelled. "I mean it!"
I jumped out the window, nearly hitting my head on the shutters, and ran.
As I was running I could hear the thumps of the horseshoes behind me. Even though I knew running was no match for a horse, I kept on running. Just as the police got close to me, the policeman jumped off the horse and grabbed me. I screamed as he dragged me over to the castle where King Terry Farr and the Queen lives with their daughter.
"What should we do with her?" The policeman asked the King.
The King's hair was a mess, and his face was wrinkled, with big bags under his eyes, as if he just woke up.
"Throw her in the dungeon if you want to." He yawned.
I ended up in the dungeon of the castle.
'Geez, this feels like a fairy tale,' I thought as I found a seat on the old, wooden bench.
"Clank clank." The police officer was back and was trying to unlock the door. Try, after try. I could tell he was getting angry.
Soon he gave up trying to unlock the door.
