Chapter one:
As the pain goes by
"When are we going to start the election Teacher Sam?" Jazz typed, as she watches some more TikTok. She thought, "What if I will be the Class Pres? What if I will be not? What if..." Her thought cuts when her teacher answers. "Join the meeting. We will have the election now." Jazz reads. Just then, Mheannelle called her. "What is it Mhea? Aren't you in the election classroom now?" Mheannelle responded quickly. "Jazz, you are in the grade 10 election room. Go to the classroom beside the classroom you are in!" Jazz giggled. "Okay, okay. Calm down. I'm coming." She stood up without ending the call. "Hey! Come here Jazz! Here!" Mheannelle hissed, leaning on the door. "Okay, okay. Calm down Mhea. I'm already here." Jazz replied, walking past her. Carlo laughed. "Perfect timing. The teacher is almost here," he said, smirking at Mhea and Jazz. "Stop it, Carlo. Focus on your business." Carlo rolled his eyes. "Dream on." Jazz sneered. "You don't want me to be a translator, Carlo." Mhea laughed. "I. Don't. Care." Carlo said teasingly. "Your like, 'I don't care' bla bla bla. You sound like an uwu boy. Stop it, your annoying." Carlo groaned. Just then, Teacher Sam entered the classroom. "Good morning class. Everyone, sit down. Carlo, stop making that face. It's impolite." Carlo slowly nodded. "Alright, class. The voting begins...NOW!" Everyone starts writing on their papers. 5 minutes passed, and no one is still done. "Class, what is taking you so long?" Teacher Sam asked, writing on the board. "Uhh...Teacher... Who are we going to vote for?" Dainelle asked. Teacher Sam looked at her. "You didn't listen to me Dainelle?" Keon raised his hand. "You didn't tell us anything?" She looked at him. "Oh! I forgot! Sorry class." She wrote two names on board: Carlo and Jazz. "Pick one person on the board. Start now!" Everyone looked down at their papers. "Class, who can submit their votes first?" Jane raised her hand slowly. "Me?" She said. "Good! Come in front." Teacher Sam replied. Jane stood up, walked to the front of the class, and slowly and carefully, slipped her paper down the box. "Very good Jane! You get an extra point for the next test." Teacher Sam said happily. Soon enough, others were standing up and lining up to submit their vote. "Good job class." Teacher Sam said, reaching out to the voting box as students submit their votes. Jane counted them all but noticed someone missing. Peter. Mheannelle raised her hand. "Teacher? Peter-" Teacher Sam cut her sentence. "Alright, class! Let's check your votes." After checking tho, she grew serious. "Class. Someone here is missing. Can you double-check if you already submitted your votes?" Everyone checked on their bags, tables, lunch boxes, and on other students' tables too. "Teacher, we already submitted our votes," Carlo said, exhausted by the bending down and digging in his bag. "These votes are in tie, class. you are fifteen here, and I only have fourteen votes." Mheannelle raised her hand. "Yes, Mhea?" Teacher Sam asked. "Teacher, Peter is-" Teacher Sam cuts her sentence again. "Peter is what? I can see Peter here. Look behind Jedi!" Everyone looked behind him but saw no one. Maybe their teacher is indeed old enough to forget and just visualize those things. Dainelle spoke suddenly. "Teacher, you keep cutting Mhea's sentences. She is trying to explain something! Mhea, say it." Mhea nodded, in a sign of thanking her. "Teacher, the Peter you are seeing is not real. Not real. And actually, Peter is absent..." Teacher Sam looked surprised. "Your lying Mhea. You know that I'm not blind." Mhea fought back tho. "Your old, teacher. You are just imagining and visualizing that Peter." Teacher Sam became mad. "How disrespectful of you. Detention, now!" Mhea still fought back. "Teacher! I'm just trying to help correct you! What is wrong with you?!" Teacher Sam froze because of what Mheanelle said, and suddenly, so suddenly, she just left the room without saying a single word. "What is that? She left without even saying goodbye or dismissing the election!" Jazz said, slapping her books on her table. "Yeah, she said we were disrespectful, but she is the one!" Dainelle replied, sounding a bit mad and a bit stressed. "Calm down guys. By the way, wanna go to my house later afternoon? We need to talk about something..." Mheannelle said as Jane and Dainelle nodded.

As I walked down a hallway at Milder High, I saw Carlo with Keon and Jedi. I tried walking the other way but there are teachers in there, so I didn't. I have to face these boys. Before I can even speak to them, Carlo shouted. "Oh hey look! Hello Jazzy-boo!" I replied. "Shut up!" Carlo laughed. "I know your about to talk to me, Jazz. Don't hide it. Wait... What if I'm your... Crush?!" I laughed. "Dream on. That would be impossible. I would rather give away my organs than marry you." Carlo became red." You will pay for that." Keon held his hand up. "We are going now, Jazz. See you." I nodded. I walked down the hallway, feeling relieved that those boys are gone.

"Hey Mhea, are you sure we will go to your house?" Jazz texted in their group chat. Mheannelle starts typing. "Yes. It's a sure-sure~" Jazz reads, looking a little shocked. "Are you sure? You said your parents are strict...?" she typed. Mhea answered quickly. "I did something to them. Don't worry, they won't find out~" Dainelle also starts typing. "What did you do to them Mhea?" Mheannelle answered quickly again. "You will find out when you come here~" Jazz giggled. "Stop using that thing at every end of your sentence. It's making me choke." Jazz typed. "Alr," Mhea answered.

"MHEANNELLE!!!" Jazz shouted as she keeps ringing and ringing the doorbell. "We are waiting here for 30 minutes. Where could Mheanelle be?" Dainelle thought out loud. "It's very weird." Jazz responded, typing in her phone. 'Mhea, where are you? We've been waiting here for like 30 minutes or so. What are you doing?' She kept spamming and spamming messages until finally, Mheannelle answered. "You can come in now Jazz and Dainelle
