(Enchanting music plays as we see a young girl wearing glasses opens her eyes.)
"Who is she?" James said looking at scene young Mirabel. "Her name is Mirabel Madrigal Nora adoptive parents younger sister" a voice said out of nowhere. "Oh okay..." Lily said but feeling jealous of young Mirabel for nothing.
Young Mirabel: This is where our magic comes from?
"They got magic!?" Ron yelled looking shocked. "Only witches and wizard have magic...." Lily whispered.
Abuela: Mm-hmm. This candle holds the miracle given to our family.
Young Mirabel: how did we get a miracle?
Abuela: Long ago, when my three babies had just been born, your Abuelo Pedro and I were forced to flee our home. And though many joined us, hoping to find a new home, we could not escape the dangers and your abuelo was lost. But in our darkest moment, we were given a miracle.The candle became a magical flame that could never go out.And it blessed us with a refuge in which to live.A place of wonder.
"That's sad" Remus said feeling sad for the old women. "It is" Sirius sad knowing how it feels to lose a family member.
Young Mirabel: An encanto.
Abuela: An encanto.The miracle grew.
And our house, our casita itself came alive to shelter us.When my children came of age, the miracle blessed each with a magic Gift to help us. And when their children came of age...
Young Mirabel: They got magic, too.
"....." Everyone in Hogwarts was quiet no one said a thing.
Abuela: (CHUCKLING) That's right! And together, our family's Gifts have made our new home a paradise.Tonight, this candle will give you your Gift, mi vida.Strengthen our community, strengthen our home. Make your family proud.
Young Mirabel: make my family proud.
(FIREWORKS EXPLODING)
Abuela: Yes, yes, casita, we're going!
(YOUNG MIRABEL GIGGLING)
Young Mirabel: What do you think my Gift will be?
Abuela: you are a wonder, Mirabel Madrigal. Whatever Gift awaits will be just as special as you.
(UPLIFTING MUSIC PLAYS)
(UPBEAT MUSIC PLAYING)
Young Mirabel: (EXHALES) Make your family proud.
(The screen turn black and we see a 15 year old Mirabel)
Mirabel: Morning, Abuelo!
(The screen turns outside as you see three kids running up)
Kid 1: Hey! When's the magic Gift happen?
Mirabel: My cousin's ceremony is tonight.
Kid 2: what's his gift?
Mirabel: we're gonna find out!
Kid 1: What's your Gift?
Mirabel: who's asking?
All: us!
Mirabel: well, "us" I just can't talk about myself. I'm only part of the amazing Madrigals.
