"They're hanging by just a wire..."

I just want to start off by saying, I didn't ask for this. I was finally safe.

I'd just gotten my arrow of light - Ya know, the thing that turns me from a Weeblo into an actual Boy Scout. I was taking some of the boxes for cleanup out after the ceremony - as every good scout does - and I tripped on a crack in the ground I couldn't see.

Now I was still processing the fact that I just died, but I'm alive. And yeah, I know what the others think of me. They all think I'm young and don't know anything. They're right. I'm young, but that doesn't mean I don't know anything. I could cut them!

Whatever. It didn't matter. Not even death mattered here now I guess.

So when I fell into the next, "level", as the adults were calling it, I braced myself to run immediately, for any sign of danger. None came, however. It was clear, and soon after everyone else fell.

I looked around the room; there were brick walls, with a gray ceiling. There was a gate down the hall, and several. Wires. Some dangling here and there, and others lining the ground along the corners. It was mildly creepy. The lights were orange, and low-hanging. On one wall sat an elevator, and in the middle was what I'm pretty sure was a generator. Everyone carefully examined it, eventually figuring out that gas was needed, as well as a key, for whatever reason. I looked at the generator myself to see that the latch for the gas input was in fact locked.

"Is Adeline here?" One of the adults asked. Becky? Was it? It's hard to remember.

"Adeline's here?" Someone else asked.

"She is!" I called out as I saw the kinda familiar face of the veterinarian in the corner. I only picked that much from when we first met her.

"Woah!" Becky called out, and ran to Adeline's side, helping her up. I noticed that some parts of the floor were wet, probably soaked in water. I hoped it was water, anyway.

"Where's Denaven?" I asked, noticing he was the only member gone. "Or Cisco? For that matter?"

"That's a good question..." Leeanne replied nervously.

"Uhh... About Denaven..." Corbin stated, trailing off.

"Oh yeah, weren't you supposed to be with him?" Becky asked, "Did something happen, and you didn't tell us?"

Corbin looked at everyone else before at Becky and answered, "Well, he just sorta died."

"What?" Becky yelped, unexpecting the answer given.

"Yeah man, there was a smiling face in that middle room, yeah?" Corbin started, "Glowing thing too, it looked creepy as hell man."

We all looked at him, urging Corbin to finish the story as he paused for a moment.

"Wait," Adeline cut in before Corbin could finish, "Denaven died?"

"Yeah, you weren't really there for the last level we went through." Becky said.

"Wait, is this not just after Ian guy died?" Adeline said, worry evident in her voice.

"No, there was this Charles guy, kidnapped Timmothy and so we killed him."

"N-nevermind then..." Adeline said, "Continue, Corbin."

"Right, so as I was saying, weird-ass smile in the corner right? Denaven shined his light on it to see the rest of it, the smile then jumped on him and tore him into confetti." We all once again stared at Corbin, "Thing is, we were staring at it for like a full a minute before Denaven flashed it, so I thought it reacted to light, so I lit a cigarette on the pipes and threw it elsewhere. It's after that."
