Bucky's Baby

Family

Bucky cooked Steve's favorite meal and ordered Nat's favorite dessert.
Dolly played in her play pen as Bucky cooked, "Doll what do you think about having Steve and Nat as part of our family?"
Dolly looked up and grinned, "Teef and Nat?"
Bucky bent down and smiled, "Yeah Steve and Nat. I don't think I could have done this without them."
Dolly stood up in her playpen and squished her father's cheeks, "Love you dada."
Bucky picked her up held her close, "Love you too Doll."

Bucky came back from putting Dolly to bed. Steve and Nat sat on the couch with a glass of wine. Sitting across from them he took a deep breath, "I... Wow this is really hard for me."
Nat leaned over and put a hand on his knee, "Hey it's ok; just take your time."
Bucky gave a sad smile, "Thanks."
Steve put his glass down and leaned over pulling Bucky into him and rested his forehead against his, "Buck..."
Bucky sighed, "I have Doll to think of and... I want to know that she..."
Nat scooted closer and cupped Bucky's face, " James Buchanan Barnes you listen to me that little precious girl is so lucky to have you as a father. You're kind caring and even a blind man can see how much you love her."
He smiled, "God I'm so blessed to have you guys, but I am messing this up."
Bucky took both Steve and Nat's hand, "I want to be with you guys; I really do. I also want you to officially be part of Doll's family. Will you be her god parents?"
The stunned silence began to fill the room with a tension that Bucky feared. Suddenly Nat pushed him back kissing him deeply, "Bucky you have no idea how much that means to me."
Steve grinned pulling them both forward, "How much it means to us both."
Bucky shyly smiled, "Well... What now?"
Steve slid a hand over his leg giving it a squeeze, "I say we show Nat how well we work together."
