Devil's Redemption

Chapter 1 - Rebirth

Samael's body begins to fall faster as his perception on time slows, each second he falls feels like an eternity. "I don't want to die!" The thought rings out in his head as he sees his tears leave his face, visions of his life plays out before him as he fades out of consciousness. The last thing he sees is the dark figure not hazy or concealed like any other time he's seen it no, "Is that... Me?" His body slams down onto a jagged rock impaling him through his chest.

Lisa, Kris and Dean, all stand by the gates of the school waiting for there friend. "He's late I hope he's okay." Lisa says, "I'm sure he's fine Lisa. Come on lets go see if he just went home." Kris says turning away from the school. "I'm going to go check with the nurse." She says walking back twords the school, Dean sigh, "I'm worried too, I'm going with Lisa." He says turning to Kris. He begins to follow Lisa, "Hey wait guys!" Kris says rushing to catch up with them. "Excuse me has Sameal been here today?" Lisa says to the nurse as she packs up her bag. "No I don't believe I've seen him." She says turning to Lisa who has already walked away. She rushes out of the school now extremely worried about her friend. "Lida calm down!" Kris says grabbing her arm. "Lets go to his house and look for him there before we start to panic okay?" Lisa takes a moment to steady her breath. "And what if he's not there either?" She asks. "Lets hope it doesn't come-" A loud siren rings out across the school grounds. As thundering foot grow closer, WARNING CLASS NINE DEMON! WARNING EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY! A shadow covers the three as they look apon a gigantic demonic entity. It growls before speaking in a guttural voice. "Humans! Prepare to have your souls consumed!" It lifts its huge mace from its shoulder and lifting it above his head. "Shit!" Kris says as it swings it down on them. The sheer force of the blow sends Kris and Dean onto the floor, however the look up to see Lisa had put a barrier of light around them. "You guys run and get your gear! Hurry! I can't hold this for long!" She says as the barrier cracks from another blow. "My axe wouldn't be able to scratch him." Kris says lifting himself up from the ground. Dean grabs his glasses from the floor. "And I don't have enough fire power either." With another swing Lisa's barrier crumbles. "Move!" Dean says as he jumps out of the maces path pushing Kris and Lisa out of the way. "Dean take Lisa and run twords the gate. Don't worry about me I've got a plan." Kris says as he lifts himself up. "Are you crazy were not going to abandon you!" Dean says. The giant demon laughs as he begins to approach them, "No choice, Lisa get out of here and go find some holy knights." Kris and Dean stand infront of Lisa her legs to weak to get as she's paralyzed with fear.

Samael opens his eyes, his arms feel heavy and all he's able to do is tilt his head the slightest bit to either side. "Where am I. I was just" He pauses as his last memory hits him, "I died." The weight on his body lifts as he mutters the phrase. He looks around the barren land he finds himself in. "Everything looks normal but..." The ground Samael lays on is not mabe of dirt or rock, but clouds? "Am I dreaming or..." A vived memory of hus last moments replay in his head. "I'm dead?" The weight apon Sameal's body is almost instantly relived as he utters the words. He looks around but the only thing he's able to see is a massive white and gold gate. "The gates of heaven?" He staggers twords the gates but with each step Sameal feels that his legs are getting harder and harder to move forward. He takes his final step twords the glowing gates when legions of black mist like chains burst forth from the cloud loke ground. The shoot upwards blocking his path almost instantly, they soon begin to swirl as if Sameal had been consumed by a black tornado. Several lash put and impale his hands and legs lifting him up twords the center however as he looks up the to of the chains horror over takes him as a giant black face with only a crescent smile and two eerily happy eyes stare black.
