This is the day! The day you are going to do something amazing! Think of it! You are going to change the world! My name is Aurora Rose McAuley and I live in Washington, D.C. with my Mom and Dad! I go to Skyline High School and I am in grade 11.
"Bye! Mom! I am going to school!" I said
"Good luck at school! Sweetheart!" Mom replied
And then, I go to school by car 🚗 Daddy is driving, and then, we arrived at Skyline High School, my school...
"Bye! Daddy! I will study and do my best!" I said
"Aurora, Sweetheart! Please be good at school, okay?" Dad said
"Yes, Daddy!" I replied
"Good luck! Sweetheart! I'll come and pick you up later at school!" Dad said
"Okay, Daddy!" I replied
And then, I go inside the school building, into main hallway where there are a lot of lockers! I opened my locker and get my books! And then, I go inside my classroom with all of my classmates.
"Good morning, students!" Mr. Harris greeted us
"Good morning, Sir!" all of us replied
"Today, we are going to learn about Math! So please get your Math book!" Mr. Harris said
And then, I get my Math book and start studying.
And then during break time... as usual, I meet my best friends Camilla, Valentina, and Matthew
"Hey, Aurora! Come over here!" Valentina said
"Hey, Aurora! Come here!" Matthew said
"Hey you guys! How are you guys doing?" I asked
"Oh, I am fine... Aurora... I am fine... Just like Camilla..." Valentina said
"Yeah, I am doing great!" Camilla said
"Hey, I am doing fine too!" Matthew said
"Yeah! You guys are my best friends!" I replied
"Aurora! Your 16th birthday is coming up next week right?" Camilla said
"Yeah, I can't wait for my 16th birthday party!" I replied
"You must be so happy! You are going to have the best party ever!" Matthew said
"Yeah Matthew! Of course, I love the idea of 16th birthday party especially because this is my party! But there's something that I want... And this one is much bigger than 16th birthday party!" I replied
"Really? What is it?" Matthew wondered
"Yeah, Aurora! What is it?" Camilla asked
"I don't know about it yet... But I was like hoping that something amazing will happen!" I replied
After the class is over, my Daddy come and pick me up and we go home by car
And then, the moment that I am waiting for, my 16th birthday party!
"Happy birthday, Aurora!" Camilla said
"Happy birthday, Aurora!" Matthew said
"Hey, Aurora! Happy birthday!" Marilyn said
"Hey, Aurora! Happy birthday! Here's a present for you!" Valentina said
"Happy birthday, Aurora!" Kevin said
"Happy birthday, Aurora!" Mike said
"Thank you so much! You guys!" I replied
"Happy birthday, Sweetheart!" Dad said
"Thank you, Daddy!" I replied
"And here's the birthday cake!" Mom said
And then I make a wish and blow out the candles
Me, my family, and my friends are having fun on that day!
