Chapter 2

"Hey, Aurora! Look at that! Carina!" Valentina said

"Carina! The smartest student in our class! But she is evil!" Matthew said

"Oh, Carina! She is so smart!" I replied

"She is very good at all subjects like Math, Physics, Social Science!" Camilla said

"I wish I could be like Carina!" I replied

"But Carina is evil!" Valentina said

And then, Carina and her friends come toward us...

"Hey, Aurora! I am smarter than you!" Carina said with an evil laugh

"Carina! Why are you being so mean?" I asked

"Carina! Get out of here!" Matthew said

"Why? What's wrong? You are jealous of me, isn't that right, Aurora? I am the smartest student at school! I got A+ in every school subject! And my friends Brandon, Rhianne, Jeremy, Jocelyn, and Sabrina! Like all of us are smarter than you!" Carina said

"Yeah, I do agree with you Carina!" Rhianne said

"Hey, I am smart! And I can prove it to you!" I said angrily

Inside my heart, I am praying... God, please make me smart! I want to be smart!

And the next three weeks are basically us dealing with Carina and her friends

"Hey, Carina! We are the smartest kids in school! We totally rule the school!" Jocelyn said

"Yeah! That is true!" Carina replied with evil laugh

"You guys! I am very sad..." I replied

"C'mon Aurora... you can't give up now!" Camilla said

"Yeah Aurora! Don't give up! You can do it!" Valentina and Matthew said

"Yeah! You guys are right! I must not give up! I can do this!" I replied happily

"Yeah! All of us can be smart!" Valentina replied

"I can be smart!" Matthew said

"I can be smart!" I said

"Yeah, I can be smart!" Camilla said

And then, Mr. Harris, our teacher, comes... 

"Alright, students! It's now time to focus on your college applications! Because after high school, you are going to university. So, I want every single one of you to study hard..." Mr. Harris said

And then, after looking at a lot of universities with my Mom and Dad, I decided to take a leap of faith that is applying to Harvard University. Harvard University is one of the top universities in the world and one of the hardest universities to get into.

"Yes, Aurora! Harvard University is a top university!" Mom said

"Sweetheart! Just believe in God! Pray so that you can get into Harvard University!" Dad said

"Yes, I want Harvard University so much! But what if, I didn't get in? I mean like it is so hard to get into Harvard..." I replied

"Come on, Sweetheart! Don't give up! you can do this! Dream big! You always believe that God knows what's best for you!" Dad said

"And this is it! This is a chance to prove that you can be smarter than Carina and her friends!" Mom said

"Okay! I am going to do it! I will study and do my best! And I will apply to Harvard! Harvard University! Here I come!" I said with a lot of energy
