The spell did work for Ranoldie when she woke up to hear a gentle voice saying that "I will bring taking care of you!!"

It was one Dave Scully MD., she pretended to play possum because she did want to spook the poor man. She even heard that Jon hamster who ran the morgue was dead with a suicide note mentioning Ranoldie's name. This was something that she did not know. She wanted to cry but couldn't because of the very reason was that she was undead. When the other ME left she took a peek at Dave's face but not enough for him to notice. He looked like a middle aged, stern yet compassionate school principal... clean shaven. That was when she decided to open her eyes and stare at him.

Dave turn around to prepared then he saw Ranoldie looking at him with actual love and affection in her eyes. She could see the same for her in his.

The one thing with Dave was that he awkward with just about everything.

"I thought you where gone little girl,

And I am an awkward person to meet."

Ranoldie covered herself and sat up and said that shat she was into awkward men. Dave decided to see what this dead girl looked like without the blood and smeared makeup. So washed it off and saw the face of an angel. Ranoldie told her story and begged her not to cute in to her.

Dave seeing the pain and love in her eyes, held her and kissed her. They kissed passionately and it seemed endless until he said that he had to the autopsy.

"I promise I won't hurt your head and face, I will hold your hand while I do the autopsy."

She agreed. It was nine painful hours and she was weeping. When he was done he close her up and washed her and gave her some clothes and to wait for him in his office, next to the room they were in.

As she waited Ranoldie that that he sort of reminded her of Jon. But Jon was dead now for ever. When Dave came in he saw her and said that he loved and cared for her. If he stayed in his office with her, she would be safe.

She kissed him gently and tenderly, and invited him. Dave was doing to do something unnatural... make love to a zombie.

The made love in his office careful not to touch her insision for fear of hurting her. Dave was very gentle in his love making.

He told her to wear lab coat and and so did he and they went back to the Autopsy room. There they made more love. She felt safe with Dave for the first time she was "dead".
