Joshua POV: I wake up and I noticed what time it was so I decided to go back over to my homeboys so I got up and took a shower and got dressed and left the house and as soon as I get to the house I heard glass break and I ran to the door and grab the key form under the door mat and opened the door to see brie on the floor and bleeding and my homie standing over her yelling like crazy I ran to her and I pushed him back yelling at his ass as I see brie get up and run upstairs locking her door as I can't believe what I did next I pushed him in his face and I ran to his sister room and knocked on the door and she unlocked it I grabbed some of her clothes and stuff throwing them in a backpack and grabbing her hand and walking out the house with her and Putting her in the car buckling up and get in the car and driving home and see her face of shock and everything while tears are in her eyes as she said thank you. I couldn't believe this even so I don't have time for him it just time to erase her pain and shit so as soon we got to the house I turn off the car looking at her turning her face to me seeing the bruises on her arm and the black eye and bloody busted lip as I took her inside the house and got the first aid kit as I started to clean her wounds and shit I asked what happen she just looked at me and said that she told him that she fell in love with someone and he flipped out as I know she keeping the main info out cause when I asked who she said it was she couldn't look me in the eyes I just let out a sigh and was about to get up to get the Band-Aids when she said it was more I told him I was leaving and I was fall in love with someone and he got mad and we started to have a heat agreement and I was going walk past him after I called him out on his bullshit but he he got his was and did this to me she said to me with tears in her eyes.
Brie's POV: I told him everything it just after mom sent me to stay with that stepbrother of mine shit just be down right bad and I guess this dude saved me for some reason but I just don't hope he like the rest play with me acting like a hero and then send me back to that nigga like if he do turn out like that I will escape before he try that shit and send me back to that crazy sick fuck but I feel like he could be different but I ain't letting my guard down for shit just yet even if that nigga is fine as shit I don't care I need to know if I can trust him until then I'm on full self awareness until I can trust him fully.
Joshua POV: I see that she can't trust me yet and I get that so I'm not gonna trip about that but I am pissed that nigga had the balls to hit her and and yell at her over some shit like that I won't make promise and but I will do everything that I can do to protect you I said to her and she nodded so I make lunch which was some take out from pizza hut and shit but at least she was happy with that laid on the floor next to my bed as he laid in the bed sleeping cause she past out so I put her in the bed as she was sleep I thought of way to keep her safe until fell asleep.
