"Are you sure about this?"

"Sí, Mamá. We have waited long enough and management finally gave us their okay. Why should we wait any longer?"

"I'm just worried, mija..."

"I know you are... but it's going to be okay," Camila assured her mother as they waited for the other girls and parents to join them in the hotel lobby. "Just imagine how many people we are going to reach! Besides, it's already planned and everything is prepared. It's a little too late to make any changes."

Sinu sighed and nodded. "I am so proud of you, Camilita. I have watched how you became this beautiful, confident and strong young woman and I am very happy that you can finally be yourself and show the world who you are. I guess I just am a little worried..."

"Aw, thanks Mamá!" She pulled her mom into a hug and Sinu gently kissed her forehead. "And don't worry too much, you know the Harmonizers. They are our own personal army and they have shown their support for this over the years."

"I know, I know..."

It was the day of the long awaited music video shoot for Everlasting Love. Since management had decided that it was going to be the next single, the girls had made it their mission to use it for something that they had addressed over the last two years. But a month ago, their management had finally relented and was no longer able to argue against the valid points each girl had presented to them.

Camila perked up and pulled away from her mother when she heard the famous giggle of the one person who had always been there for her since they had met in North Carolina three years ago.

Lauren and Dinah just walked out of the elevator, the older one was still laughing about Dinah's latest prank she had pulled on Normani. "Damn, you got her so good, girl! Her face was hilarious!"

"I know, right? That will teach her not to mess with my Beyoncé DVD collection..."

"Lauren!"

The green-eyed girl looked up and was barely able to catch Camila as she jumped into her arms, giving her the famous koala hug.

"Geez, Camz! We only saw each other an hour ago, remember?" she giggled and securely put her hands under Camila's thighs so she wouldn't fall down.

"I'm just so excited for this, Lolo! This is going to be amazing! I can't wait!"

"Yeah, sure, just ignore me. Why not?" Dinah complained from her spot next to Lauren and had to suppress a smile as she watched her two friends.

"Sorry," Camila apologized sheepishly. "Good morning Cheechee! And what a marvelous morning it is, isn't it?"

"You are way too chirpy this morning, Mila." Dinah raised her eyebrows and looked calculating between the two of them. "Did you do something dirty?"

Spluttering, Lauren set her down, but Camila just stuck out her tongue at the Polynesian. No one could mess with her today. This day was something she had dreamed about since Lauren and she started dating two years ago.

"Y'all better not..." a voice called out behind them. Turning around, they noticed that Normani and Ally had reached their little group. The rest of the parents had wandered off to Sinu and had thankfully not heard any of their conversation.

Lauren blushed deeply and Camila gave her girlfriend a quick peck on the cheek. "Guys, stop embarrassing her. You know that she's not the badass she always pretends to be."
