Chapter 4: Kushida Kikyo

"Suzune we should convince your brother to have a check-up...immediately. "

I just wish there was some treatment for Horikita-senpai. That illness he got  was too severe and i would be the one suffering because of it.

We were currently in the cafeteria eating our lunch.

All eyes were on the two of us after his sudden announcement,

Still, no matter how supportive his brother is, was it necessary to use the speakers though?

Now literally everyone in the school knows about our (fake) relationship, which is good and bad in a way.

We were planning to just let the others know our relationship by having lunch with just the two of us or holding hands in public, slowly raising people's awareness.

However, since Horikita-senpai made this announcement in the speaker that was supposed to be just school related, everyone would be curious about the two of us.

He even announced it early in the morning and when classes were about to start.

"Suzune?"

She haven't touch her food for a while, she was just thinking in deep thought.

"That secretary of him must have put something in his food."

"I don't think that's the reason though"

I am not familiar with the concept of love and family, i wasn't born in a loving environment or rather a normal one.

The concept of love was deemed unnecessary and useless, something that would hold me back from showing my full abilities.

However, i would be the one deciding what is necessary and unnecessary with my life.

"Hello Ayanokoji-kun, Horikita-san! "

A high pitched voice greeted us, it was Kushida without any company, she was holding a tray and sat beside me.

As she said our names, most of the people who were in the cafeteria looks at us, Great.

I could clearly hear their murmurs, and since the topic was who was the couple that Horikita-senpai announced this morning, it further intensify since they now know our faces.

Suzune who was seated in front of me immediately sent her a frown. She did that on purpose didn't she?

"Kushida-san, do you mind if you don't ruin our date?, you must have heard that Kiyotaka-kun and i are already dating based from my brother's announcement." Suzune said it in a stern voice, however it doesn't affect this girl who suddenly sat beside me and scoots her chair closer to mine.

I don't really know the reason why is Kushida doing this, she hates me since i know her other side, so she should be wary and avoiding me, maybe she wants to stick by my side so i couldn't spread what happened that night, eventhough i promised not to tell anyone she wasn't sure if i would spread this information.

"The more, the merrier isn't it Horikia-san? Also...."

Her left hand suddenly went to my lap, Suzune couldn't see this since it was blocked by the table, she begins to caress it in a slow motion.

I tried to remove her hands away from my lap carefully, but she grabs my hand and hold it instead.

I look at the girl beside me she was smiling and sending a smirk into me.

Will this be considered cheating?

No, Suzune and i doesn't really have or weren't in a romantic relationship right now, additionally, both of us doesn't have any romantic feelings with each other.
