Chapter 16

A few days passed when I confessed to Mitsuya. I knew he would reject me so I took a risk so my feelings for him wouldn't deepen. I tried to move on immediately, give myself space and accept that Yuzuha is really the one for him.

But it's hard, especially since I liked him for several years. I sighed before leaving the room. I yawned as I walked to the kitchen to find something to eat. I opened the fridge and got some ice cream.

I stopped when I heard Izana's voice in the living room. He suddenly came here to the kitchen. My jaw almost dropped when I saw what he's wearing now. He was wearing a white long sleeve polo shirt and black pants. He's also holding a blazer in his right arm.

"Where are you going?" I asked him. He glanced at me for a moment before drinking water.

"Party." He answered shortly before leaving the kitchen.

I nodded and followed him. I watched him tie his necktie, I almost laughed when I saw him struggling.

"Do you need help?" He stopped before turning to me. He slowly nodded so I came closer.

While I was tying his necktie, I felt his gaze on me. I don't know why I'm suddenly nervous. I tried to ignore it until I finished tying his necktie.

"Done!" I said and was about to walk away, but I was surprised when he suddenly touched my elbow.

I almost froze from what he did. I can't move my whole body. My eyes widened when he suddenly brought his face closer to my ear.

"Thank you..." He whispered softly.

'What the fuck?

"I'm leaving. See you later." He suddenly pinched my cheek before leaving in front of me. I watched him grab his blazer before leaving the apartment.

'He's weird....
