Chapter 1

Y/N POV
Hi im Y/N, im 8 years old and i live with my older sister, now i know that would sound weird but she adopted me when she turned 18 so i would have to live with my foster dad.

Here i am wide awake at 4 in the morning after have another nightmare about my foster dad, after what felt like forever i finally heard my older sister amy wake up and walk into my room "hey bubs how long you been up?" she asked and i just shrugged "nightmare?" she asked and i nodded, not looking at her as i know i will start crying again "i've told you to wake me if you have a nightmare" and i just started crying "oh bubs, tell me whats wrong" she asked 'i cant do it i keep seeing him' i sign, oh yeah i forgot to add im mute well not all the time but most of the time im just to scared to speak so me and my sister started learning sign to help me and her communicate.

Amy's POV
As soon as i woke up this morning i went through to check on Y/N but when i open the door i see her wide awake staring at the wall "hey bubs how long you been up?" i ask and she just shrugged not making eye contact with me "nightmare?" i ask and she nodded still not taking her eyes off the wall "i've told you to wake me if you have a nightmare" i sighed and she just started to cry "oh bubs tell me whats wrong" i say and she signs 'i cant do it, i keep seeing him' and i sigh, for a 8 year old shes had so much trauma which i why i think shes to scared to talk as if she talked out of line with our old foster dad he would beat her "i know its hard, do you want to see someone about your nightmare?" i ask and she shakes her head. After about 10 minutes shes stopped crying "right come on breakfast time" i say picking her up and walking to the kitchen.

Y/N's POV
As amy made breakfast i got lost in my train of though, ive been away from my foster dad for about a month now and its been good except the nightmares, i just don't get why it had to be me i thought but i was soon dragged out of my thoughts by amy putting a plate of pancakes 'what's this for?' i sign "well you know how i auditioned for that roll?" she asked and i nodded "well..." she dragged 'come on get to the point' i sign getting annoyed by the fact shes dragging it out "i got the role!" she says excitedly 'OMG welldone' i sign running up to her and hugging her "i the thing is..." she started making me look up at her "i haven't found anyone to look after you so...you have to come with me to set" she says and i sigh, i hate new people 'when do you start filming?' i sign "today at 9, so eat your breakfast and then get dressed" she said and i went back to eating my breakfast.

As i was getting dressed i spot myself in the mirror and i look at myself im covered in bruises and i hate it, i hate what he did to me "can i come in?" amy asks so i quickly put a top on and open the door "ready?" she asked and i nodded.

Amy's POV
Whist Y/N was getting dressed i was washing the dishes and when i looked at the clock i noticed it was 8:05 and the cab arrives at 8:10, so i went to Y/N's room to see if she was ready to leave. "Can i come in?" i asked even thought i know i wont get a answer but after hearing her hurry about she opens the door "ready?" i ask and she nods.

Just as we leave the building i see a man standing next to a very fancy car that i knew caught Y/Ns attention because she gasped in shock "amy?" the man asked and i nodded "it's nice to meet you im john" he introduced himself "and whos this little one?" he asked and i felt Y/N tens up "this is my little sister Y/N shes a bit shy around new people" i said "oh im so sorry Y/N i didnt mean to scare you" he said and she slowly nodded and looked at me confused "right shall we get going" john asked and i nodded and started getting Y/N in the car.

After about 10 minutes i felt Y/N tap my shoulder so i looked at her 'why was he being nice to me?' she signed and my heart ached, she still think every man she meets is bad "not all men are bad only some" i whispered to her and she nodded.

Y/N's POV
After what felt like forever the car finally stopped "were here" john said getting out the car and opening my door, i was still confused on why he was being nice to me 'thank you john' i signed and he looked confused "bub john might not know sign language" amy says and i nod "she said thank you by the way" amy told john and he nodded "your welcome if you need anything just come to me, ill also keep a not pad on me incase your sister isn't with you" john said and i smiled "right you lets go, thank you john" amy said whist picking me up.

As amy carried me i noticed we walked into a building and then i heard amy speaking to someone but i didnt listen until amy said my name and i look up "Y/N this is anthony and joe, guys this is my little sister Y/N, are you guys ok with her being here?" she asked and joe i think spoke "yes thats absolutely fine, is there anything we need to know about Y/N?" he asked and amy looked at me asking if she could tell them and i nodded "Y/N has been through alot of trama with her old foster dad and most of the time she is to scared to speak so she signs and i translate what she is signing" she told them and im guessing they nodded "right i will call someone to take you to your trailer" anthony said and i heard him pick up his phone.
