Author's Note

Hello!

Just a few notes before you start reading.

1. This is not based off of the show's Billy. Fuck show Billy. This is Better Billy, and we only like Better Billy here.

2. My friend and I are sort of writing this together. She has helped me come up with the plot and different character ideas. We are mentally ill college girls who need something to keep our minds off of classes, so this is like our not-really-therapy therapy. 

3. As I stated earlier, this is a stress reliever for us. We are here for a good time, but we'll try our best to stay true to certain aspects of the show but still have fun with it. We have sometimes struggled to find Stranger Things fanfics that fit what we wanted in one, so we decided why not write our own since we have the time (do we though?). 

4. Obviously, the characters of Stranger Things do not belong to us. However, we do own all original characters (OCs).

5. This fanfic starts in season 1. We know Billy does not come in until season 2, but we figured it would be fun to build her character before we introduce the love interest (Better Billy). I know it's a little different than other Billy fanfic, so if this sort of interest you, please stick with us. We'll try to keep part 1 (season 1) as fun and quick-ish as possible.

6. Also, this is our working title and cover. We actually hate it, but it was the best we could come up with so far. We are brainstorming improvements, so please bear with us. It will be changing sometime in the future!

7. This is all I can think of right now, so please have fun along with us. This can be your not-really-therapy therapy too if you would like to join our little community or whatever the fuck this is. And of course, thank you guys so much for reading!
