A few hours later, when everyone is exhausted and sleepy in their cabins, one camper is still awake and sits around the fireplace.
The brunette girl enjoys the silence and use it to think about everything that happend the last few weeks.

Man, this summer was crazy. At first, I really wanted to go to camp with my friends but then my moms decided to visit California. I mean, I was sad not going to Camp, but California really helped me to write new songs for Jamie.
Well, and then I met my biological dad, Marvin. In fact, I knew Marvin from my childhood but this information was new. I still can't believe it. After all these years to have a dad... it's weird.

Almost 2 years ago, I met EJ here and fell in love with him. He even made this weird thing to poison Emily so I can get the lead. Which was kinda cute. Oh and then we were together at East High, after a beautiful summer. You know the rest: EJ and I broke up (No, I don't want to get into detail) and after the show, Ricky confessed his love to me. Then the whole story with YAC, which lead to a second breakup with Ricky.
And now, I'm 18 and ready for senior year. I also met Corbin Bleu after the show. He's really nice.
I get lost in my thoughts when I suddenly hear steps coming near the fireplace. It's Ricky. Oh what a coincidence.
"Hey, there you are", he greets me, which makes me smile. ( You get the reference, I hope).
"Yes, just thinking about everything. It's been a crazy time", I explain and he agrees.
"Totally, I mean this summer was weird...in a good way... I understand why this place is so special to you", the boy in front of me says.
Then there's silence.
"Nini... I'm sorry", Ricky confesses. "For everything... deleting this comment and being not supportive with your song. I just didn't want to lose you. You don't hold me back. I know, we are just friends right know but I love you... I still do".
After this speech, I need a moment.
"I never stopped loving you Ricky. I'm sorry for not telling you about YAC earlier and changing my name into Nina. I never liked that name... but in Denver it felt like a new start... I..." - I get interupted by Ricky kissing me. Without a doubt, I pull my hands around his neck. This feels so good, so right.
To make this moment perfect, fireworks are showing.
After the kiss, we breathe heavily but with a huge smile.

I take Ricky's hand and look into the sky. "Here's to the future", I smile. "No... here's to right now", the boy answers and we share another passionate kiss.
