"Beginnings"
June 7th 1989
"Hello, my name is Greg and I work alongside Timothy The Fireman of Percy, I'm the driver of the number 6 engine, Percy. We sometimes nicknamed him "the little green caterpillar", but I tell you, Percy is an engine we all know and love."
"The reason why I am writing this down is that recently, there was a high chance of a sort of hurricane but no one is taking notice of it so we are going to continue with our work until something happens on the island."
"Around the afternoon, high winds and rain were picking up and trees were even starting to fall due to the wind being that strong."
"Well I honestly hope nothing bad happens, we were tasked to take a mail train at Knapford to Farquhar in the middle of the night while a hurricane is coming towards the island. I honestly just hope we can make it back home after this."
"That's when..."
"It happened"
"The Hurricane was going faster and faster. I pulled the whistle and we steamed off with some of the workmen who had to put the mail in the vans. We raced down the line and saw Murdock pass by and he looked weird. We also saw Henry shoot past. Henry looked infected but Murdock had a completely different face and we were shocked. He didn't say anything and neither did we. We had slowed down as the Hurricane went away."
"We had been on the journey to Farquhar for a while now, everything is starting to get serious as trees and rocks are now landing on the tracks and Percy has been getting hit a bit with broken branches."
"After what felt like hours, we got away from the more dangerous areas with the Mail Train, the time was 9 AM when we finally got to Farquhar, we were unharmed but Percy got some scratches and blood and also lost a buffer as well from the debris."
"We don't know what to do, Percy is scared for Thomas and has hopes that he will be alright. Timothy says we head down the Branchline tomorrow to find Thomas so Percy can stop worrying"
"We plan to make our way to the sheds quickly so we can be safe in the sheds at least"
"Okay so we just arrived but something happened on our way here"
"We were making our way down the line on the Branchline when James shot past. Why would James shoot past the Branchline? That's when we saw his face. He had big red dots on his face and many details which I don't want to say. Percy was shocked by this. James was a bossy engine but he didn't deserve this none of us deserved this"
"We decide to stay here until tomorrow"
