Wizard Camp (Part II)
"What's for breakfast today?" Nicolai grinned, joining the boys in the canteen the next morning.
Looking over the menu board, Kyle shrugged.
"Same as yesterday." He replied. Nicolai was pleased either way.
After gathering their own trays of food, Kyle and Nico joined Sigmund and Ivan in the hall, where they were already seated with their own breakfasts. They'd been leaning over the table across from one another, looking over the campsite pamphlet.
"There you are!" Sigmund smiled towards Nicolai. "You slept in!"
"Needed it." The mutant sighed, starting on his tray of food. "My stomach was KILLING me last night."
"Shut up about it already..." Ivan whined. He pointed out the pamphlet to the other boys at the table. "What are we doing today?"
"I actually have to go back to the craft tent this morning." Kyle told the others, taking in a spoonful of porridge. "Mm—I told Erin I'd meet her there in the morning to finish off our works from yesterday."
"Ja, okay, so we're going too." Sigmund nodded, folding the pamphlet to a close. Ivan gasped towards the sudden shift in planning.
"Hold on! I don't wanna go to the craft tent!" He argued. "That's lame! We said that yesterday!"
"Well, I changed my mind." Sigmund shrugged, taking a sip of his orange juice. "So we're going."
"He's only saying that because Erin is in there..." Nicolai mumbled. When Ivan and Nico rolled their eyes, Sigmund pouted in annoyance.
"That's not true!"
"Sure, Nightbreed..." Ivan spat, standing from the table with his empty tray. "Fine, we'll go to the stupid tent. Hurry up then."
Getting through their meals, the boys followed behind Kyle, who happily lead them down the trail in the direction of the craft tent. He was glad to be doing something relaxed and even more glad to see everyone following his lead for once. As expected, Erin and Meghan were already inside, actively working on their pouches from the day before. Noticing the boys walking into the space, Erin smiled brightly and waved them over to the table.
"Good morning!" She greeted, pulling Meghan's attention from her own work. Seeing the boys instantly upset her.
"Ugh..." She groaned. "Seriously?!"
"Good morning to you too." Sigmund spat, taking a seat beside Erin. The boys followed suit as Sigmund pointed out her work. "What's this?"
"We've been working on these since yesterday!" Erin shared, enthusiastically. "It's a leather pouch for potion bottles!"
"The upperclassman all have those!"
"Yup! Yup! I don't think the leather suits me, but I know you like it."
"I love it!"
"I'm making this one for you. I-It's not done yet, so don't look!"
"I'm not looking! Hehehe~!"
"Hey...I want one of those." Ivan actually admitted. "I make potions, but those holders are so expensive."
"See the witch stood there?" Kyle pointed out. "Go ask her for assistance and she'll sign you up and help you get started."
