Just to let you know in this beach bear and Mitzi are both 16 bc in the actual Rae lore beach bear is like an old man and Mitzi is like 16

Beach Bear pov

The next day passed, and before I knew it, it was the end of the day. I live very close to the high school, so I never ride the bus. I always walked home. But today, I was riding the bus with Mitzi. I felt awkward, because I never really rode the bus, but I felt better because Mitzi was there. I didn't really have a crush on her, it was just comforting to have a friend there. Mitzi's stop came and she nudged me.

"Hey, we're here!" She said.

I got up from the the seat after her and made my way to the front of the bus. I couldn't help but feel embarrassed hearing girls giggle about a guy getting off the bus with Mitzi, but frankly, I had no energy left in me to care.

As I walked with Mitzi to her front door, I felt anxious, and hesitant to go in. It's not that I didn't want to be there, I just wanted to make a good first impression on her mom. Mitzi opened the door and walked in.

"Hey, Mom! This is my friend I was telling you about."

Her mom smiled warmly at me.

"Hello! You must be Beach Bear."

"Unfortunately," I said sarcastically. "How are you?"

"Doing great!" She said as she shook my hand.

Mitzi smiled at us.

"Glad to see you two getting along well."

"He's a very nice young man." Mitzi's mom said.

"Thanks, I try to keep my dignity I guess." I admitted.

"Mitzi, why don't you show your friend here your room?" Mitzi's mom asked her.

"Oh, okay, Beach come on!"

She grabbed my arm and took me to her room. How her mom is okay with this I'll never know. She had a very nice room, really clean and organized.

"So this is where my makeup is, and I have a lil' mirror over here..."

I looked at myself in the mirror, and saw I didn't look too bad for once. We both sat on her bed and chatted about life and school and such. I then noticed she scooted closer to me. I looked at her, surprised to see she was looking at me too. I got lost in her gorgeous eyes and we ended up staring at each other.

Oh no.

We found ourselves starting to slowly lean closer to each other. She closed her eyes, and then I did too. Just then, I felt my lips touch her's. I lifted my paw gently to the side of her face, and she did the same. The kiss lasted about 10 seconds, probably. We separated our lips and looked at each other. She was smiling, slightly, and blushing. I smiled back.

"I- I love you.." she said in a nervous tone.

"I love you too.." I replied.

I grabbed her hand and she suddenly hugged me and I hugged back. Just then I knew: I was in love.
