Third Person's P.O.V.
Scott and Jimmy were sat together at the top of the bowl which was Tumble Town. Or at least one half of the empire. Their shoulders were practically touching due to their proximity. There definitely wasn't a soft blush on either of their cheeks. (There certainly was.) The pair was facing the setting sun. Watching it sink lower and lower in the sky. The warm shades of red, orange and yellow gradually became colder as night approached.
It was beautiful.
The pair continued watching the sunset until nighttime properly set in. The moon was shining brightly above and the stars twinkled intermittently. Mobs spawned in the more dimly lit areas below. Scott sighed as he heard a spider hiss in the distance followed by a zombie's groan. Those noises marked the end of his peaceful moment with Jimmy. They'd have to relocate to somewhere safer if they both wanted to continue spending time with the other. Scott definitely wanted to but what say Jimmy?
Speaking of the sheriff, Scott noticed that he'd been awfully quiet. Neither party spoke whilst literally watching the sunset, but the man hadn't even said anything about the mobs spawning in the distance. Normally, Jimmy would be making a much bigger deal about it. He'd go on and on about getting to a safe place and putting up more defenses in Tumble Town. He also muttered worries about Scott getting home safely under his breath under the guise that the cyan haired man couldn't hear him.
A smile found its way onto Scott's face at that thought. It was absolutely adorable how much Jimmy worried for his safety. Even though the sheriff likely wouldn't admit it out loud any time soon, Scott found comfort in knowing he was truly cared for. With that in mind, he shifted so he could look at Jimmy only to suddenly still when he finally felt the weight on his shoulder. Scott slowly turned his head to the side and titled it down to look at the source. His heart skipped a beat at the sight that greeted him.
Jimmy's head was resting on his shoulder! The position would most definitely give the sheriff a crick in his neck, but Scott would worry about that a little later. Jimmy's head was on his shoulder! His brown eyes were shut and his expression was one of complete and utter calm. All the stresses of day to day life were nowhere to be found. Soft snores came from Jimmy indicating that he was fast asleep. And on Scott no less!
Any fawning Scott would've done was cut short by the rattling bones of a skeleton. It sounded a fair bit closer than the prior mob noises. Scott really needed to get a move on. Preferably sooner rather than later. As such, he began to slowly shift his and Jimmy's positions so that he could stand. It proved to be a difficult process but Scott managed to stand up as well as transfer the sheriff into a bridal carry. All without knocking off Jimmy's hat or waking him up too.
With that, all Scott had left to do was deposit Jimmy in his bed. That task seemed easy enough. So, Scott glanced back at his elytra and was happy to see that they needed no adjustment. If they did, it would've been hell to gently set Jimmy down on the mesa floor, fix them and then pick him back up. The sheriff most certainly would've been roused from his slumber then. Having that thought in mind, Scott glanced down at Jimmy's sleeping form once more. Smiling at him once again before deciding he'd done enough dilly-dallying.
Scott walked towards the edge of the bowl and stepped off of it. The hand cradling Jimmy's head moved upwards to secure his hat. His elytra spread to its full span behind him almost immediately. Allowing the two men to glide gently towards Jimmy's house. It wasn't too long before Scott landed on the sandy floor. Kicking up some of it as his feet touched the ground. He glanced at Jimmy and, sure enough, the man was still snoozing.
Cute.
A few spiders hissed in the distance and Scott took that as his sign to get indoors. Fast. So, as quickly as he could without disturbing the sleeping beauty in his arms, he made his way towards Jimmy's front door. Somehow managing to open and close it without producing a single sound. Once inside, he gently plucked the sheriff's hat off his head and rested it in the spot Jimmy normally left it. He's sure the blonde would appreciate it tomorrow morning.
Next, Scott turned to walk down the hall to Jimmy's bedroom. Keeping his footsteps light on the wooden floor so it wouldn't creak. He passed a sleepy Norman on the way and briefly awed at the cat. Finally, Scott was at Jimmy's bedroom door. Much like with the front door, he managed to open it without making the slightest noise. Scott crossed the room and gently set Jimmy down on his bed. Jimmy stirred slightly as Scott removed his boots and loosened the blue bandana around his neck. Luckily, Jimmy remained asleep.
Scott smiled down at Jimmy as he laid in bed as peaceful as ever. Soft snores emitting from him. No doubt since he was now in the comfort of his own bed. Scott's smile fell as he tucked Jimmy in. A pleased sigh coming from the latter. It was time for him to take his leave. Scott didn't even get to turn around fully before he was stopped by a hand grabbing his wrist.
"Stay," Jimmy whispered, still half-asleep.
Scott glanced from Jimmy's grip on him to the door and back again. Jimmy faintly tightened his hold at the man's hesitation. Scott faintly laughed as he kicked off his shoes. He was going to stay obviously. He could never dream of denying Jimmy anything even though their current relationship is quite undefined. The pause was only for dramatic effect.
Jimmy's grip held true until Scott climbed into his bed. The latter shifting until he was comfortable. That comfy position just so happened to be with both men laying face to face. Then, Scott pulled the sheets over them as evenly as he could. Jimmy let out another pleased sigh and Scott smiled at him. He moved back a little bit so he wasn't as close to Jimmy and almost yelped as the sheriff wrapped his arms around him. Pulling Scott towards him so that they were pressed together.
A blush lit up Scott's cheeks at the intimacy of the action. From where his head lay on Jimmy's chest, he glanced up. The sheriff's eyes were still closed but the biggest smile was on his face. It soon faded back into a relaxed line. Scott playfully rolled his eyes and snuggled up to Jimmy. Shutting his dual coloured eyes and slowly drifting off to sleep. His legs tangling with Jimmy's in the process.

I got carried away with this fic as per usual. It was supposed to be short and sweet but NOPE! I appear to be unable to write anything below 600 words for these two. The brainrot is real lol.
Also, surprisingly strong Scott supremacy!!! Have a good rest of your day/night!
