Sanji and Luffy in Wonderland

will come true

So the crowd cheers again, again it is the same scene, the same script that Sanji has been following. But something is different, that something is Luffy.

"Sanji Vinsmoke, the third son of Judge Vinsmoke is the guilty co-conspirator with The Hatter in the stealing of The White Queen's crown will now be punished by a duel against the Jabberwocky,"

Sanji walks up to the known arena, the dragon circles, in the distance Sanji can hear Luffy.

"Let me go, "

Luffy watches with shackles in his arms, held back by multiple guards as Luffy tries to tear away from them, like a wild animal. He screams and screams.

Sanji hates that he has to look pathetic, even in front of the one person he never wanted to be seen like this.

This nightmare will be over soon. Sanji chants to himself.

As Luffy keeps struggling the locket with the lucky charm pops open and the golden liquid spills on him.

Luffy feels a surge of something in his body and slowly things start to move, as if he's moving upwards, no this feeling, he's growing larger.

The crowd screams in fear, all the attention on Luffy torn away from the dragon and Sanji.

Sanji stares wide eyed, surprised and... hopeful.

Luffy steps into the arena, towering over the dragon grabs ahold of it like a snake. The dragon struggles and breathes fire but luffy easily dodges it.

"Luffy! You need to slay it!"

Sanji screams at the top of his lungs.

" With what!?"

Sanji runs inside, the crowd watches in awe as Luffy keeps toying with the dragon, it claws at his hand but Luffy grips at it, not letting it go lest it starts hurting people, hurting Sanji.

Sanji rushes back, holding a giant sword, it shines silver. Luffy holds out his hand for the sword but Sanji shakes his head.

" Get me to the dragon, Luffy,"

Luffy nods and picks Sanji up with a bloody hand. Sanji kicks up and lunges at the dragon.

It's a clean cut, the head falls and Luffy let's go of the body of the beast.

The crowd cheers. It's the show they've been waiting for their whole lives, for entire generations. Finally the beast; has been slain.

Sanji and Luffy both collapse in exhaustion.

And Luffy stirs awake.

The light from the window lands directly in his eyes, the thin curtains do almost nothing to block the sunlight.

He's initially confused on where he is, 'cause this certainly does not look like his room and then he remembers. Ah Sanji's place.

His stomach rumbles, as he gets out of the blanket and enters the bathroom, fresh clean towels, new toothbrush and paste. So pristine. As expected of Sanji.

Luffy can smell something sweet as he steps out of the room. His hunger grows as he gets closer to the source.

A blonde boy with messy hair and lose comfy clothes dances and hums around the kitchen. The pan is sizzling with melted butter and the pot of coffee steams.

Luffy takes a seat opposite to the counter as Sanji plates carefully with tweezers and drizzles syrup on fluffy cloudlike pancakes. Dusting some powdered sugar on top that falls like snow and does the same to a second plate.

"Coffee, tea, juice?"
" Juice,"

Luffy provides and Sanji pours a glass of orange juice with a little garnish.

" Do you always make your food like this?"

"Like what?"

Luffy flails his arms and Sanji laughs

" You mean about the plating? Of course, you eat with your eyes first,"

Sanji settles beside him with a cup of espresso.

Luffy eats messily, biting and swallowing. Abandoning cutlery and using his hands as Sanji slowly chews.

" I saw a funny dream last night,"

Luffy says while licking his fingers.
" What was it about?"
" You were there! And there was this dragon and the queen and these flowers and the hatter and,"

" Sounds like a lot happened,"

"Yes and the queen gave me a Hercules beetle! I put it in my pocket and,"
Luffy slips his hand inside his pocket and feels something.

"Wait,"

He pulls out the beetle.

Sanji stares in shock, he can't remember anytime if the real world was influenced by wonderland but this is definitely strange.

" Ah Hercules beetle,"

Sanji jumps out of his seat realizing it's a bug and walks back till his back hits the wall.

" I don't like bugs Luffy,"

"Why not,"

"I don't know, they gross me out, throw it away,"

"But the queen gave it to me!"

"Alright put it in a jar at least,"

Sanji walks towards his cupboard and gives Luffy an empty jar who happily puts the bug inside and Sanji can breathe again.

Sanji clears his throat, realizing his voice probably raised by a few octaves at the presence of a bug made him embarrassed.

"So what were you saying about the dragon being slain?"

"I didn't say any dragon was slain...wait so you were actually there right!"

"No you just mentioned a dragon and I assumed-,"

Luffy gives him a skeptical look and Sanji raises his hands.

"Okay guilty,"

Luffy laughs.

"Then flower, what else is on your mind today?"

Sanji asks.

"The slayer of the dragon,"

Luffy replies
