Matthews pov:
" 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑟 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑣𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑒𝑤𝑜𝑙𝑓𝑠 "
that said the title of the book i had on my lap. It was in the middle of day: mother should be still asleep. Good because she forbid me to read those books again. Why? Bad influence, mom said. Punishment? I also don't know. The conversation went like this:
Mom: you are not allowed to read books like that, Matthew.
Me: why is that, mother?
Mother: bad influence.
Me: okay.
Mother: don't do it or else...
Or at least i think it went like that. Anyways i wanted to open the book when i heard a rambling noise coming towards my room. " Shit " i mutterd amd putted the heavy book in my drawer, under my desk. Vampires are fast, but if they want to the skeleton butlers can be even faster. Jhon opend the door before i could lay in bed. I said " Uh, uh, hiii Jhon how are you " followed by a awkward laugh. He looked arround and shrugged his bony shoulders. He turned arround, leaving a note. When he left, i picked up the note. It said, in surprisingly good handwriting: " 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑀𝑎𝑡𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑤. 𝐼𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑏𝑜𝑜𝑘. 𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑖𝑡 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑡𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒. "
I was shoked. Jhon wasn't gonna betray me? I was the Butler thankful. I heard howling coming out of the woods. I never really cared about what lived there, so i shrugged it off.The next night. It was boring like always. Learning stuff, had to hunt, all that jazz. There was even louder howling tonight. And it wasn't even full moon. Weird. I'll think about it later.
