mirabell & the hedgehog

Chapter 1

Mirabell was walking around in the forest, trying to find her favorite maple tree that she sits under."This walk feels longer than usual." the small hedgehog on her shoulder says. "Yes it does, doesn't it..." She says while looking around, cautiously.

"Oh! There's the floating log! That means we're getting closer!" Mirabell says with a wide smile on her face and starts to speed up. The hedgehog crawls onto her head. "Yes, you are quite observant."

Mirabell looks down at her black shoes and gives the hedgehog a small nod. She takes a notepad, a feather, and ink.

She starts writing the word "car" on the notepad with the feather which is dipped in ink. "Mirabell, what are you doing?" The small hedgehog asks.

Mirabell looks at the hedgehog who is currently sitting on her shoulder and says "I wanted to test out a new spell! It's supposed to make anything I write down appear in front of me." Mirabell says excitedly.

"Oh really? A car would be nice right now. Let's try it!" Mirabell bends down and lets the hedgehog hop off her shoulder. She places the note on the ground and does the spell.

A small car appeared, big enough for the hedgehog. "Oh! Well that's good too!" Mirabell says while scooping the hedgehog into her hands and into the small car.

She picks up the small car that the hedgehog is still in and continues her walk to the maple tree.
