Khari and Ashura had decided to take up an errand from the family; pick up supplies in town. Ashura had also taken a new form, A beautiful lady who one might assume is a princess.
"Alright let's just get the things we need and get out of here as soon as possible-" Khari turned. "Ashura?"
Ashura had stopped and was looking off down the road. They pointed, "Isn't that your sister?"
The two went down the road and to their surprise, there stood Tishala in her usual yellow uniform. She lingered outside the blacksmiths with a note in hand.
"Tisa." Khari walked up, Tishala looked at them and her eyes lit up, she grabbed Kharis hands. "Perfect you're here. I need Violet flash."Khari gave a confused look. "For what? It's only supposed to be used for-"
"Yeah yeah we're supposed to use our abilities for catching demons but this is urgent and maybe a little demon related. I lost a bracelet on my last mission and I need it back fast. Can you maybe look for it?" Tishala brought her hands together and pleaded.
Khari sighed. "The most I can do is trace your footsteps but even then if it's been more than a few days since you've been out there I can't track it."Tishala sighed. "Let's just go to the area and see alright?"
She didn't wait for Khari to respond before she grabbed her wrist and pulled her along, Ashura hurried after as well. "Hey wait-"
Tishala didn't stop though, the three walked along a path until they came up on a large house. It sat at the very edge of the village and was protected by a low and terribly beat wooden fence. It was aways from the main part of the village and was obviously abandoned. "Alright this is the place." Tishala looked at Khari impatiently and Khari sighed. "Fine, fine."
Khari walked onto the lawn and joined her hands. "Violet flash, show me my surroundings."
Just as before the whole area dimmed. Tishala became yellow while Ashura and herself became purple. There were several fading black footsteps, under them were fading yellow ones. She began to follow along with her eyes before stopping. "Isa... did you fully exorcise this house last time?" She faced her sister who nodded. "Not a single spirit remained. Why?""... there's a new trail, meaning a new one showed up recently."
Tishala grabbed both Khari and Ashura by their wrists and pushed forward. "Then let's go! We've got some demons to catch!" She stopped and looked back at Ashura and smiled nervously "no offence." Ashura just shrugged.
The three made their way in the house and looked around. Previously white sheets now soiled brown and yellow covered the furniture and webs decorated almost every corner in the home.
"I can still see your footprints but they've almost faded under this new demon. Where did you last have the bracelet?" She would dispel Violet flash and look at her sister once more.Tishala made a face of thought before beginning to look around the room. "I remember purging the spirit in the bedroom and that's when I looked at Queen and said we'd go get snacks after doing such a great job and I'd been twisting my bracelet. We left and went to the blacksmith to get my weapon fixed first and that's when I noticed it was gone!" She groaned. "I should've been paying attention, we'll never find it now."
The house would then creak, Khari pulled a dagger from one of her pockets and raised it. "Tisa. I think I know what happened to your bracelet."
Tishala ran over and grabbed her arm. "WHERE IS IT?"
Khari pushed her away and sighed. "Whatever spirit is here is great at concealing itself from most views so it was able to escape you. It must've taken your bracelet when you left as a sign of victory or something."
Tishala gasped. "You might be right I-"
She stopped as the house began to shake, Ashura joined Kharis' side and the three stood together, ready for an attack. The creaking would start again as if the wind was hitting the house. The walls and doors rattled and the floor groaned. There was a faint cracking sound and both Khari and Tishala looked down but before they could move the floor gave out. Ashura grabbed Kharis arm and used their tail to wrap around Tishalas. "Grab my leg!"
Tishala quickly did so and Khari grabbed Ashuras arm. Small green wings unfurled from Ashuras back and they thrusted them towards the part of the floor that wasn't broken, the three got up and moved away from the crack.
